Overview
I founded and own HONEST ECO. With Kentucky bluegrass roots and a B.S. in Biology, I found a world with a blue sea too alluring to ignore. I arrived to Key West in 2005. Now I have 10+ years of experience studying Biology and being on the water in Key West. I now own a small business with my wife and 2 young kids. We are trying to make a big impact by educating and leading by example. I'm very passionate about being respectful to the wildlife and the environment

Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product
Stop At: Sand Key Reef, F48c+36g Key West, Florida, Usa, Key West, FL
Snorkel, Kayak, Watch Dolphins, Sail, and eat an amazing Full Spread Organic Lunch from a local cafe. This is a 6 hour trip on the water! We will begin this experience on a spacious 42' sailing catamaran. With 1, 092 Square Feet of deck space, plenty of room to relax.
We will depart from the dock located at the Historic Seaport. Sail out to a mangrove island that we can only reach in a shallow draft boat.
You will learn about our Key West ecosystem as you Kayak through Mangrove Islands. We will explore the distinct habitats of the Key West National Wildlife Refuge and learn about our diverse animals and plants
We will head to another one of our favorite spots to snorkel on the reef, coral heads or a sponge garden. We take you to the best spot with the best visibility that day. Your mate will lead you around a calm snorkeling spot and point out animals that make our ecosystem unique and answer any questions.
Lunch is provided from our favorite organic cafe Date and Thyme.

We felt super safe and comfortable through the entire trip. A must do when you’re in Key West!!!loriellen r

This charter was beyond expectation. The mates and captain were friendly and informative. Even in early December, the weather was great and everyone really enjoyed the trip. the crew were safe and Covid conscious. Don't hesitate to book with Honest Eco!

Had a great time dolphin watching and snorkeling. The boat was very clean and the staff were very friendly. The staff on the boat were Marine biologist, so knew a fair about dolphins and the Keys environment. The boat is electric and very quiet. It was nice that you didn’t have to shout when ...
Had a great time dolphin watching and snorkeling. The boat was very clean and the staff were very friendly. The staff on the boat were Marine biologist, so knew a fair about dolphins and the Keys environment. The boat is electric and very quiet. It was nice that you didn’t have to shout when the boat was running. We were lucky to see several dolphin groups and the highlight was to see the mother and infant dolphin. The snorkeling was great even in chilly waters. What is nice with this tour is wet suits are included, where the Fury tour you had to pay an extra 10 dollars for a wet suit. It was a little difficult to find the boat, as check in is on the boat on a dock found at the back of shops. There were several couples running late but the captain was nice enough to call them to help them find the boat. I thought this was a nice gesture that a larger charter company wouldn’t do.
