This is a great way to experience what many locals experience in and amongst the traffic, and eating at local places we would have never discovered, sampling different Vietnam dishes. We were driven safely around Saigon by our 2 drivers Asha and Daniel. We never felt in danger on the bike, and were taken to interesting market and street places for different courses as we progressed through the evening. The start of the tour was a great roof top bar with awesome views over the city. It’s an excellent way of experiencing a side of Saigon most visitors probably don’t get to. Would have liked a little more local information on the areas and sights we were seeing but we enjoyed the trip.I was a little apprehensive to take the tour, but as soon as we met our lovely guide Stark, I felt comfortable enough to go. Our group included two couples, 3 children, and my mum. We met Bruno, Rico, and Duc in front of the Opera House and while most of us rode our own scooters, Rico drove my mum. Bruno rode skillfully through to District 3 where we sampled the tastiest beef pho Ive ever had! Although the first choice restaurant was closed they quickly found an alternative close by that was perfect. We were right in the thick of D3 alley life which is exactly what we hoped to experience. Next we zipped and zapped our way to interesting landmarks which were articulately explained to us by Duc. The Flower market of D10 was beautiful at night and we sat to enjoy Vietnamese pizza and buy gerberas. Later on we sampled banh xeo, banh mi, and finally ended up in D4 (party street!) for snails, clams, and then dessert. This was a thoughtful plan as we could easily drive home from the last stop. The guys were great with our kids and we had a lot of fun and laughs. Thank you all, it was brilliant meeting you and seeing these hidden sides of Saigon.Tony and Chang were great - Tony was great and had very in depth knowledge about the city and the local food! We visited lots of unique Vietnam places that you wouldn't know about, would 100% recommend! The scooter rides were also fun and this was our first time on a scooter :)
