Price is per person. Turn Sacramento into a giant game board with this fun scavenger hunt adventure! This challenge combines the excitement of the Amazing Race with a 3-hour city walking tour. Guided from any smart phone, teams make their way among well known and overlooked gems of the city, solving clues and completing challenges while learning local history. Note: Pricing is per individual, but teams must book together in order to be included in the same adventure.

Urban Adventure Quest has created an interactive scavenger hunt that combines the fun of the Amazing Race with a three-hour sightseeing tour of Sacramento. Guided from any smart phone, groups make their way among well-known and overlooked gems of the city, solving clues and completing challenges while learning local history. The Quest will start in the heart of the state’s Capitol and will take you on a journey among the historic points within the Capitol Mall and then to the fabled streets of Old Sacramento. You will explore both famous sites as well as hidden nuggets within the city and along its scenic riverfront. The tour requires approximately 2.5 miles of walking. Using a smartphone as “the guide” allows participants to start when they want and determine their own pace of play. So put down your gold pan and saddle up your group for a fun adventure… why not, it’s your schedule? Offered at a fixed price for a group vs. per person pricing, this city tour/game offers a great value to those on a budget.

Three of us were doing the hunt mainly to learn about Sacramento. We lost interest when it was geared for picture taking and teams. But it was a great experience and I would recommend it.

My friend and I were in Sacramento for a weekend. We wanted a fun way to walk around and explore the city. This was it! It’s fun to get the clues and then figure them out. My friend and I were in Sacramento for a weekend. We wanted a fun way to walk around and explore the city. This was it! It’s fun to get the clues and then figure them out. It was cold (ish) the day we did this, so we probably spent less time than we would have had the weather been warmer. As it was, I think we took about 3 hours or so, including a quick stop in a coffee shop. In warmer weather, we probably would make a day of it and spend some time looking things up to learn more about the city as we solved the clues. We had a little technical difficulty retrieving our tickets, but I called the number they gave us and a very nice woman fixed it for us. I also received a follow-up email after the course, thanking me for some feedback I sent. So, I’d give them high marks for customer service. Sacramento is an interesting place to visit and this was a great way to get acquainted with it. Highly recommend.Trail631322

This was SO MUCH FUN. We met my mom in Sacramento for a weekend trip, and wanted to see some sites but had no idea where to start. We followed each clue, learned some history, and saw things we had never seen before! What a great time! I super recommend!
