Manolo was very knowledgeable of the island, obviously had a lot of local friends and strived to show us the important parts of the island including the devastation of volcanic lava flows. He arranged for us to have a film shown in English at the national park centre. A great experience for both of us. Thank Manolo.We are an English speaking couple in our 60s. I speak Spanish at intermediate level. José Antonio was our charming driver who led our 6 hour trip. We felt safe at all times, he found us great places for coffee and lunch. We are an English speaking couple in our 60s. I speak Spanish at intermediate level. José Antonio was our charming driver who led our 6 hour trip. We felt safe at all times, he found us great places for coffee and lunch. We wanted to see the after-effects of the recent volcanic eruptions and despite the fact that access was limited he took us to the best viewpoints and told us about living on La Palma and the impact / consequences of the volcano. José Antonio lent us binoculars and collected some volcanic ash for us to have a souvenir, he explained things to me in Spanish. We also saw el Mirador de La Concepción, El Santuario de Las Nieves, Cumbre Vieja visitor centre, La Cumbrecita en el Parque Nacional, Many different views of the volcano and the point where the lava flowed into the sea. Highly recommended.Genial tour con Manolo, lugareño conocedor de todo lo que hace falta en La Palma. Taxi privado para dos durante 4h por 120€, ideal para grupos de 4 ya que sale más a cuenta, pero a un así, una gran opción si estás unas pocas horas en La Palma o no quieres alquilar coche.

Hicimos la excursión de los volcanes y los traslados al aeropuerto con José Antonio y Manolo y fueron encantadores en todo momento. Nos acogieron estupendamente, pasamos un día estupendo recorriendo la isla y visitando todo lo que nos interesaba. Nos llevaron a lugares con unas vistas privilegiadas, nos explicaron un montón de curiosidades y aprendimos mucho sobre el carácter tan acogedor y amable de todos los palmeros.
