Join our epic photo tour from Anchorage to Whittier, Alaska and experience the breathtaking beauty of the Last Frontier. Our tour starts at the Chugach State Park Headquarters where you'll witness the historical Alaska railroad snowblower.
At Beluga Point, you'll have the chance to capture stunning photos of the majestic mountains and Beluga whales when present. Birdpoint offers another picturesque location for photos of the local birdlife.
The Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center is a must-visit destination, where you'll have the opportunity to see and photograph Alaskan wildlife up close. Portage Lake and its stunning glaciers provide an unforgettable backdrop for your photos, while the Anton Memorial Tunnel takes you through the heart of the mountains.
As we approach Whittier, hidden waterfalls will emerge from the lush greenery, and you'll be able to capture unforgettable views of Prince William Sound. Once in Whittier, you'll have time to explore this quaint town and its unique character.

This tour exceeded my expectations! We wanted to see some beautiful areas of Alaska not on the regular tour routes and did that ever happen. Our guide, Scott, was amazing and knew all the special places to take beautiful pictures. He gave us the best tips for using our phones and even sent us professional quality photos he took right along with us. The tour said 8-9 hours, but he spent a full 11 hours and tailored the tour to exactly what we wanted to see and do the whole day. I cannot recommend this tour enough! You will not be disappointed. I learned so much from Scott about the Whittier and Anchorage area and was shown the hidden beauty that lies within.Great photo spots and lots of them in a small group for photographers. He offered suggestions for setting up photos with both framing shots as well as different settings options.
