These big guys and some little guys are vet checked and cared for on the regular, and only given the cleanest diet served with plenty of love, sunshine, and sunscreen (yes, sunscreen!) With tons of space to run around, the ocean next door to take a dip in, and a protected and shaded pad to call their own, they’re living the dream on Rose Island! This 6-hour all inclusive excursion offers a scenic 30-minute boat ride to and from beautiful Rose Island. Once at Sandy Toes, an array of activities are available to our guests including our guided snorkeling tour, private beach, hammock garden, and our very own Rose Island Swimming Pigs! We also include a delicious Bahamian buffet lunch, served on our southern pavilion overlooking picturesque Lower Harbour, and feature our very own Sandy Toes Gift Shop with one-of-a-kind souvenirs. River tube floats and kayaks are available for rent, and also fresh water showers and air-conditioned bathrooms are also available on the island for the comfort of our guests! Our Beach Bar is a great social atmosphere where you can mingle with our friendly staff or meet fellow travelers!

- Sandy Toes enforces a strict check-in policy. Check-in is at 9:15am at the Paradise Island Ferry Terminal, between the 2 bridges on Paradise Island. DRIVE OVER THE PARADISE ISLAND BRIDGE. Check-in closes at 9:45am. Any guest who has not checked in at the Paradise Island Ferry Terminal by 9:50am on the day of their excursion forfeits their seat and is subject to the tour's 100% cancellation fee, and will be deemed a "no-show" guest.
- You must make your own way to the departure point the morning of the excursion.
- All cancellations must be received in writing at least 24 hours in advance.
- Photo ID must be shown to match the method of payment used to create the booking, which is to be provided at check in. This may also be documented (photographed).
- Face masks required for travelers in public areas

Everything from beginning to end was amazing! The island is private, which makes the experience special. What can I say about the pigs, adorable experience and so well behaved. The lunch was delicious, and all this because the staff is beyond amazing!

We had such an amazing time. We were taken on a snorkeling tour as soon as we got off the boat. The water was so clear and the guide gave us information on certain sea creatures, and even let us hold a starfish. After snorkeling we went to the main area with the bar and got drinks. They had a hug...
We had such an amazing time. We were taken on a snorkeling tour as soon as we got off the boat. The water was so clear and the guide gave us information on certain sea creatures, and even let us hold a starfish. After snorkeling we went to the main area with the bar and got drinks. They had a huge selection for what was included in the package, which was very surprising and nice. The bar staff was very friendly and accommodating. We went to the beach to swim with the pigs and that was our favorite part of the whole day. The pigs looked very well taken care of, the staff was friendly and answered all of our questions. We got so many pictures, we learned all of the pig's names. Everything was perfect and we would definitely do this again.Jody T

This excursion exceeding our expectations, we seriously considered coming back for a second day. It's about a 25 minute ride to the island. Once you arrive you have the choice to snorkel (there is a time limit and this is your only chance) or you can head to the other side of the island to the pig beach. It only a few minutes to walk from one side to the other but be prepared for some uneven terrain. If you skip snorkeling the pigs come right out and you'll have time to get more pictures and time with them. As you head down the stairs from the bar the pigs come out at the far right end of the beach as you are looking at the water. They bring them out 3 at a time, there is a break between and they bring out different pigs each time. You can pet them, feed them and get plenty of pictures. Lunch is served from 1 - 1:30, it's a buffet of salad, pasta salad, rice, hot dogs, jerk kitchen and dinner rolls. All were very good and you can get more of whatever you liked. The bar also has small bags of chips if you get hungry. For the bar they are open when you get there, the basic drink package includes well cocktails, including all the drinks on their cocktail menu, Sands and Sand Light but no frozen drinks but they are available for purchase or if you purchase the upgraded package. If you bring a cup with a lid they will fill that for you, keeps your drink cold and the sand out. Plus they don't mind if it's larger then there cups and you can only get one drink at a time so less trips from the beach to the bar, you have to climb a flight of stairs each time. The staff is incredible, be sure to bring lots of cash to tip them because they deserve it!Glenda_S
