Me and my son booked a walking tour with Amr Sonbol , one around the Colosseum and surroundings area. It was a great experience and we both gathered amazing knowledge about history . Amr was very professional and same time friendly- throwing jokes and interesting things which you cannot find in official guide ☺️ Atmosphere with him was very relaxing and enjoyable! He was taking care of our safety and make sure that we are all good and happy. He took as to surrounded areas without a queue and help us getting safely after his official time. He gave us lots of tips and good advices how to spend time in Rome. I highly recommend Amr as a guide if you find yourself in Rome ! We booked two tours with Sara, one around the Colosseum plus surrounding area of Rome, and on the second morning a tour of the Vatican, Sara was so knowledgeable and was able to answer all of our questions. Our Rome experience was indescribably wonderful because of our tour guide Sara. She has given us literally a trip back in time. We walked through the Roman Forum with Sara’s detailing the different events, buildings, and historical giants such as Julius Caesar. We could sense and imagine what lives were like back then and came away with a better understanding of the Roman history. She was our friend for 3 days. We were eager and looked forward to seeing her the next day. Colosseum was a huge place, and Sara made it easy to understand and remember what happened there two thousand years ago. She made the tour relaxing, and all of my family enjoyed her company. My wife especially enjoyed the food tour in Rome. Didn’t know Gelato comes in 150 flavors until Sara brought us to a hidden back alley gelato store. Then there are also Jewish fried artichokes, suppli, Pizza, Pasta, Risotto, etc. Sara was always on time and complete with pictures in her hands, aiding us along our journey back in time. What a blessing to have had Sara with us this trip !What a wonderful tour! An opportunity to see the Circus Maximus; where the chariot races were held in Ancient Rome. What a wonderful tour! An opportunity to see the Circus Maximus; where the chariot races were held in Ancient Rome. It was also neat to see that, even today, the area is still being used for entertainment purposes. Sara Verde is a fantastic and very knowledgeable guide. The tour was very well-paced and covered quite a few items including The Mouth of Truth which I didn't know what that was. Now I have to watch the movie, "Roman Holiday". Thanks very much. I highly recommend Sara as a guide if you find yourself in Rome.Carrvagio's painting within a beautiful cathedral! Sara Verde is an excellent tour guide, very personal & friendly; highly informative regarding specific historic sites and places of interest. It was 100 degress in Rome and Sara was just amazing at guiding us through the day with ease. Fillipo always had the car close and the AC blasting to keep our family of 4 cool in between sight to see....
Fabulous trip to Rome made even more perfect with our wonderful guide Sara and driver Fillipo. It was 100 degress in Rome and Sara was just amazing at guiding us through the day with ease. Fillipo always had the car close and the AC blasting to keep our family of 4 cool in between sight to see. Sara was so very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions, kept us in the shade, knew just how to perfectly navigate the crowds and effortlessly keep us on time for all places to visit. She also took us to a fabulous "local" restaurant for lunch. We were very spoiled and thrilled to have the luxury of spending the day with Sara!!
