This company really understands the needs and desires of travelers! Three of us had contracted with them to take us on tours for 8 days. I cannot make any suggestions to have made our experience better, and I am usually pretty critical. When we asked for suggestions which related to activities which we thought we would enjoy, our driver always came up with alternatives, and made them happen. He knew personally several artisans and businesses which our travel agent did not, and took us to experiences which were delightful and personal. I cannot recommend Dingle Sleahead Tours strongly enough! The owner, Rory, runs an excellent operation.Despite some foul weather, we enjoyed our day trip with Colin very much. Colin picked us up at our hotel and made up for the bad weather by showing us some out of the way places and engaging us in conversation and answering all of our questions about Ireland. Despite some foul weather, we enjoyed our day trip with Colin very much. Colin picked us up at our hotel and made up for the bad weather by showing us some out of the way places and engaging us in conversation and answering all of our questions about Ireland. In addition he gave us many valuable tips on the remainder of our stay in Ireland. We were 4 Americans, 1st time in the Dingle area...and enjoyed a 2-day private tour of the Ring of Kerry & the Skellig Peninsula with Rory as our driver. One day perfect weather - one day a bit if rain...but not a problem. In addition to the amazing overview & detail of the area, Rory was especially considerate of each passenger's specific interests. When there was limited time (there was a LOT to see & do), we took a vote to decide where to focus our efforts. Again, everyone in our group was extremely pleased with Rory's tour and our expectations were clearly exceeded!Paudie was our driver and he was absolutely wonderful!! The van was clean, and the entire experience was very professional. Paudie picked us up at our Bnb in Kerry and dropped us off at our bnb in Dingle. Our tour guide, Paudie, was wonderful! We were a family of five including three teenagers. He picked us up at our hotel right on time and made sure that we had a great day. Our stops included Ladies View (breathtaking vista), Skellig Chocolate Factory (you can watch the process and plenty of tastings!). We had a great lunch at a restaurant Paudie recommended. We saw areas where scenes from Star Wars were shot, had plenty of opportunities to take pictures and wonder around. Paudie was really funny and informative and took us to places that we surely would have missed on our own. We HIGHLY recommend this tour!Our family of 5 enjoyed two exceptional tours with Paudie. Our family of 5 enjoyed two exceptional tours with Paudie. We were home based in Dingle and had a four hour tour of the Dingle peninsula as well as a full day tour of the Ring of Kerry. We enjoyed the backroads of the area and limited views of massive tour buses. Paudie is a native to the area and makes you feel like family visiting rather than a tourist.
