Just enjoy the learning journey! We were 5 woman who did the 2-hour tour with Jonathan. Jonathan was the best, the best instruction, best historian and the best tour guide. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting Richmond. Ask for Jonathan, he’s the best.

So much fun! My friend and I decided at the last minute to try a one-hour Segway tour in Richmond, VA, on March 22, 2022 through RVA on Wheels. Afterward, my friend and I enthusiastically vowed to return for a two-hour tour and to bring along our family and friends. Henley, the bright and helpful assistant, and Matt, the patient and informative tour guide, were wonderful! If a Segway isn't your thing, they also rent traditional and electric bikes.Tremendous tour of all the sites in downtown Richmond. Matthew was great! We had ages 14 to 65 and zero experience riding segways. The training was thorough and we safely saw all the great sites.

We husband and I (upper 50s) had never ridden a Segway and both enjoyed it! The city is beautiful and we saw many sights from the canal/walk to the Capital building and Governor’s mansion (exterior only). You travel on different surfaces including sidewalks, bricks, bike lanes and a bridge over the river so sometimes there are bumps or tricky turns. But Jonathon was great as an instructor to practice before the tour takes off. Very patient, efficient time wise and has lots of knowledge of the area! I had trouble finding out where to park before arriving. There is some street parking for 2 hour limit but that was full so we used a nearby garage. Also, it feels much colder on the Segway in the breeze so dress warmer than you think you’d would need.
