Ramen has become a world-famous Japanese dish alongside sushi. Gyoza is another Japanese dish that has rapidly gained popularity in recent years. At a ramen shop, ordering ramen and gyoza as a set is a staple in Japan. In this hands-on cooking class, we will make ramen and gyoza. Ramen noodles and soup are made from scratch.

Cooking Sun Osaka is the perfect option for people looking for a cooking class in Japan in English. The class teacher was fluent in English and walked us through how to cook ramen and gyoza at a perfect pace. Many of the ingredients are semi-prepared or mise-en-place so that you can try a few new techniques and learn about the ingredients without doing a crazy amount of work. Our only complaint was that we were asked to wait to eat the gyoza until the ramen was ready, and so a few in a group were disappointed that it was cold for the meal. Otherwise, it was perfect! A great 3-hour activity for a group and we got lots of cute pictures.Enjoyed the Ramen and Gyoza cooking class. Well planned and organized cooking class. Clear instructions and well laid out kitchen for group class. Happy with the class and would recommend to my friends who visits Osaka

This was a great experience and I was afraid that there would be a language barrier. The host spoke english, very well and that made the experience even better. She made it very easy for everyone, so they would have a successful time. The outcome was a delicious meal of ramen noodles in a broth and a plate of Gyoza, meat filled. Ther host also gave us the recipes if we want to try cooking them at home. I would highly recommend this event. It was well worth the money. We also found out the same host does a sushi making class as well. Next time we are going to take that class. We had a wonderful time learning to cook authentic Japanese cuisine. The instructors were wonderful and also a lot of fun! Highly recommend!

This cooking class was very involved, making everything from the broth to the noodles to the toppings from scratch. The only thing that was not made from scratch was the gyoza wrappers. Everything was delicious, and the class was so fun. We are looking forward to making ramen with friends and family when we get home.
