The morning race course trip was the perfect finale to our 9 day tour of New Mexico. Ben was an exceptional guide! He was extremely knowledgeable not only of the river but it’s landscape as well! This is a definite MUST DO when visiting the area! And ask for Ben :)

My fiancé and I were looking for a White Water Rafting experience on the Rio Grande and reviewed several options, given many have made changes during COVID19. We chose Billy & Big River Raft Trips as he was very responsive and accommodating to our request. He gave us the clear guidance on where to meet (an area with no cell service and followed up with us to check at that we were on the way). Everyone in our group wore masks except when we were on the raft in the river itself. They provided all the equipment and made us feel safe as we navigated the rapids. We did the half day and it took about 2.5 hours. They had a dry bag for our phones and took pictures of us when we asked. It was very fun and would recommend to anyone looking for single, double, or group rafting opportunities.Had a great experience. There were 8 of us.. teens went in funyak and had a blast. Others divided up into two groups of 3. Both guides were really nice and knew the geological history and other fun facts about area. Chris watched out for our safety. Both guides were really nice and knew the geological history and other fun facts about area. Chris watched out for our safety. We couldn’t row in unison for the life of us but he was patient and he knew what he was doing. Very nice young man. He obviously enjoys what he is doing. Other guide also a lot of fun and full of laughs. Will use them again. The trip was 3+ hours and worth the money. They didn’t rush us and they took their time. Exhausted at end!!!The rafting was super fun with my group and really enjoyed the extra knowledge our tour guide gave while we paddled down the Rio Grande
