Additional information
- Not wheelchair accessible
- Not recommended for travelers with back problems
- Not recommended for pregnant travelers
- No heart problems or other serious medical conditions
- Most travelers can participate
- Full valid driving car licence is required (drivers only). You must have this with you on tour and please note we do not accept provisional licences.
- For legal and safety reasons, children under 7 years old or below 1.20m height are not allowed on this activity.
- Maximum weight allowed per Quad is 180kg.
- We provide helmets, plenty of water, and always have a first-aid kit on hand. This means you don’t need to bring much!
- We do recommend that you wear sunscreen, sunglasses, and suitable footwear.
- Only take the bare essentials (wallet/purse & sun cream). Space is limited so if possible, please just bring a small bag and keep things to a minimum.
- We recommend closed-in / covered toes shoes or sneakers. Flip flops or sandals are OK to wear provided you are careful – please leave the high heels at home on this occasion!
- It can also get incredibly dusty at times, so don’t wear your best clothes.
- We don’t recommend wearing dresses or skirts as it can be uncomfortable while riding on the quad, and remember you can get burned easily by the sun and wind, so we recommend to cover up a bit.
- If you don't hold a drivers licence, or are too nervous to drive the quad yourself, you can book the option "Pillion with Guide". Have the same fun experience without the worry of driving. Enjoy the ride on the pillion seat with one of our experienced guides driving you. (This is also perfect if there are not enough adult drivers for the number of children in your group.)

- Face masks are only required during your transport from your hotel to our base, and during the instructions. You will not be required to wear masks whilst on the quad bike tour, we will leave that decision to you.
- This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund
- This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund
- This tour/activity will have a maximum of 10 travelers
- Confirmation will be received at time of booking

For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours in advance of the start time of the experience.

The tour was amazing ! Mark was brilliant and gave us a fantastic adventure packed tour on the quads. He even shared some interesting stories about the local area. Would highly recommend for a group or a couple.

We had a wonderful 4 hour tour today with Mark, exploring some beautiful scenery. Even though it was a little chilly, Mark and Simone provided some perfect windbreaker jackets and so we were comfortable throughout. So much to see, and a lovely Piri Piri chicken lunch and rest breaks for chattin...

Even though it was a little chilly, Mark and Simone provided some perfect windbreaker jackets and so we were comfortable throughout. So much to see, and a lovely Piri Piri chicken lunch and rest breaks for chatting! Simone was super responsive and helpful when booking via email. Highly recommend a tour with Quad Ventura to see a side to the Algarve that most tourists do not get to see - beautiful farms, charming villages, vistas from the hills and orange groves. We had such a great time on our quad tour. We saw a castle, loads of orange orchard, lots of rolling hills, and the small towns of Algarve. It was a great time and our guide was awesome! I highly recommend for a nice, unique way to see the Algarve countryside.

Very nice tour. We were a group of 6 including teenagers, one 8 years old boy (minimum age) and adults. We all enjoyed the trip. The pace was fine for experienced drivers and also beginners. We all loved the experience.

Absolutely brilliant - we thoroughly enjoyed it. My favourite parts were going through the cobbled streets of a lovely Portuguese village, a nice coffee stop, and the off road tracks. The tracks are made for quad biking! It is well worth the money. Mark was a fantastic host too. Highly recommended!
