Puerto Rico Guided Adventure in El Yunque Rainforest
Overview
Explore the rainforest on a journey full of history & different natural gems. We visit the East side of El Yunque Rainforest to enjoy a 25 minute hike to the first waterfall. There you can enjoy the landscape, swim in the water, rope swing or free dive from multiple heights. Further up after a 15 minute hike, there is another watering hole with a natural rock slide and cliff jump into the river. Learn of the history of the rainforest, iguanas, guava trees, bamboos and 100 year old trees. This is an adventure good for those looking to enjoy nature and an a very authentic puertorrican rainforest experience. Good physical condition required as hike is in pure nature, muddy & fun. We meet in Fajardo, here you will follow the guide driving your own vehicle from the meeting point until we reach the rain-forest. TRANSPORTATION NOT INCLUDED. Uber and taxi NOT allowed. GOOD PHYSICAL condition required. Be ready to enjoy a real adventure full of nature and water-slides in the rain-forest.

Great guides, the adventure was educational and exciting. We enjoyed every challenge, the hiking, climbing, mud wall, rock slide, and rope swing. Prepare to get muddy, wet and tired!

This was a very fun tour with awesome staff. We stopped at a local stand for lunch. The food and drinks were so good! We then went to the Yunque rainforest and visited a small fresh spring area. This was a very fun tour with awesome staff. We stopped at a local stand for lunch. The food and drinks were so good! We then went to the Yunque rainforest and visited a small fresh spring area. We then visited a natural waterslide area. On the way back, we stopped at the beach for two hours and had fresh mojitos and ate more local food. There were 60 local shops at the beach shop, which were fun to explore. We would have gave this tour a 5, but didn’t for a few reasons. The bus was very outdated and barely had a/c (more so just blew air), making the ride a bit miserable. The bus was already maxed out in capacity, so the normal body heat of passengers did not help. The bus would have been cooler with the windows completely open (if that was even an option). Lastly, the tour guide was full of info, but we could barely hear him. It would have helped if he had some kind of microphone or Bluetooth headset connected to the radio.934aem

Great time on this adventure. Ivan was the best and keep the entire guided tour exciting. Hands down if you were to ever book, make sure you request Ivan. He’s the BEST!!!!

We had the best experience with our tour guides Ivan and Joel. It was an adventure and I am so glad that I decided to book a tour with them because I’m convinced We wouldn’t have been able to do everything we did and get as far as we got without their help.
