Puebla Bike and Food Tour

Learning about a new city, absorbing its sights and smells and tasting its flavors is best done on bike. On this tour we'll cover different parts of downtown Puebla almost exclusively on protected bike lanes so you feel safe and relaxed as we go. You'll learn a little about the history of the city without making you feel like you're back in school and we'll try several dishes and drinks that have made the city a gastronomical hub of Mexico.
And don't worry, all of the food has been vetted and is sanitary so you can rest assured that as long as you don't go overboard adding spicy salsas to your food, you'll be fine ;)
In addition, there are vegetarian options at all the stops and we have vegans covered at all but one!

Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product
Pass By: Historic Centre of Puebla, 72000 Puebla, Mexico
We'll bike through eastern part of the historic downtown from the departure point. You'll get to see stunning colonial architecture, businesses and observe locals going about their day.

Stop At: Estación "Paseo Bravo" Ruta L2, C. 11 Sur 310, Centro histórico de Puebla, 72000 Puebla, Pue., Mexico
We'll take a ride through this famous park then head to the adjacent street, Avenida Juarez. You'll learn some of the history of Puebla and Mexico as well as try some more famous bites at a nearby market. 15 minutes in transit to Calle de Dulces
Duration: 45 minutes
Stop At: Calle de dulces de Sta. Clara, Av 6 Ote 10, Centro histórico de Puebla, 72000 Puebla, Pue., Mexico
We'll head back through downtown to our next stop: sweets street. You'll learn about the history behind the sweets sold there and battles taken place.
Duration: 15 minutes
Stop At: Callejon de los Sapos, 0052 El Callejon De Los Sapos, Puebla 72017 Mexico
Right around the corner is one of the most beautiful spots of the city that has a rich history behind it. We'll try a famous dish influenced by different cultures that has become unique to the city. 5 minutes in transit to Zocalo
Duration: 35 minutes
Stop At: Zocalo de Puebla, Av. Don Juan de Palafox y Mendoza Historic Center, Puebla 72000 Mexico
No doubt the most famous spot in Puebla will be one of our last stops. While enjoying some authentic Puebla street food you'll learn about the history of the Zocalo and it's impressive cathedral.
Duration: 25 minutes
Stop At: Historic Centre of Puebla, 72000 Puebla, Mexico
We'll continue through downtown before ending the tour to sample one more hidden snack not from Puebla but definitely popular here. 5 minutes in transit back to starting point

- Most travelers can participate
- Although nearly the entire experience will be outdoors, Puebla recently reinstated the use of face masks, so you should bring your own mask in case one of food/drink stops requires the use.
- This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund

This was a blast. Awesome tastes with fabulous hosts Eric and Adrianna. Tasty food typical of Poblanas and knowledgeable guides plus a fun bike ride through the historic center. They’re happy to point out the little markets for fun souvineer shopping later.

I had such a great afternoon with this tour! Erick was waiting for me when I arrived with my bike, helmet, reflective vest, and water. I had such a great afternoon with this tour! Erick was waiting for me when I arrived with my bike, helmet, reflective vest, and water. He gave great instructions and I understood what the tour would be like. We rode around to different restaurants and sights all the while I learned about the history of Puebla and Mexico. Erick, fluent in Spanish and English, was an informative, engaging, and genuine tour guide. I felt very safe riding my bike and the food at the different stops was delicious! I’m so glad I did this tour and I’d recommend it to anyone, alone or in a group, who can ride a bike and enjoys tasty food and a fun tour in a beautiful city.312teria
