Private yacht - Fjord, mountains and waterfalls cruise to Modal
Overview
Private cruise to Modalen, an experience of Fjords and waterfalls, starting just outside your hotel in Bergen.
We depart Bergen, watching city from the seaside with the backdrop of the surrounding mountains, including Fløyen and Ulriken.
We slowly cruise in the fjords from Bergen, the scenery and atmosphere shifts from busy city life, to a quiet and pristine landscape. We get to the narrow remote fjords and villages with beautiful waterfalls. If it`s raining doesn`t matter, rain makes the waterfalls more dramatic.
In the fjord we call upon a waterfall down to the fjord and boat, where you can have a waterfall-shower, or taste the clean water. We can dock in the village of Mo for a break, where you in the summer can have lunch at the local cafè- and explore the village on your own.
We can also arrange lunch onboard the boat for you if you like.
The evening cruise (6PM) will be slightly shorter, so we are back around 11.

Pass By: Nordhordland Bridge, Flatøyvegen, 5918 Frekhaug, Norway
We are passing under this large floating bridge on our way to the fjords
Stop At: Osterfjorden, Alver, Norway
You get to the Osterfjord after 1 hour cruise. We pass under the Nordhordland Bridge, the world’s seventh longest pontoon bridge, and continue up the 27-km long Osterfjord. Watch the landscape change from the low-lying coastal landscape of the coast to the deep fjords innermost in the Osterfjord, surrounded by majestic mountains.

Stop At: Mostraumen - Bergen, Fv569 3, 5729 Stamneshella, Norway
Nice waterfalls, narrow fjords, nice restaurant for lunch.
Possibility for waterfall shower. Great spectacular nature with high mountains and waterfals.

Up in the end of the fjord we can stop for a swim in the fjord, maybe under the waterfall? Bring your swimsuit, we have towels and warm shower onboard.
We can dock in the village of Mo for a break, where you can have lunch at the small local cafe and explore the village on your own. No other tours stop in Mo, so this is a great opportunity.

Nydelig tur i fantastisk høstsol i Bergen. Vi tok denne turen nesten på sparket, men båten var heldigvis ledig på kort varsel, så det gikk bra. Brukte hele dagen på turen Bergen - Modal - Bergen, og koste oss hele veien. Vi hadde med lunsj fra en kafè, og fikk servert drikke ombord. Hyggelig ...

Nydelig dagstur fra Bergen og opp fjordene til Mostraumen og Modal. Vi hadde avreise fra Bryggen kl 09:30, og koste oss hele veien oppover til vi var fremme i Modal ca kl 13:30. Det er bare å lene seg tilbake å nyte hele turen, vi var en liten gjeng på 6 stykker som hadde med oss god drikke og ...

Det er bare å lene seg tilbake å nyte hele turen, vi var en liten gjeng på 6 stykker som hadde med oss god drikke og lunsj, og hadde en fantastisk tur hele veien. Vi var ikke på land, men var inntil en foss i Modal, og hadde det gøy med å stå under denne fremme på baugen på båten. Alle ble våte, men fikk tørka oss etterpå. We were happy to see that the reccomendation was correct, and we had a lovely day on this boat. Only the two of us, as a private cruise. Champagne and wine included, coffee, tea etc as well, all we needed was available onboard for free. We had brought lunch from Bergen, and did not go ashore in the fjord-village, but understand that is also a great experience, the very remote little town called Mo I think. Great boat and captain, lovely nature and experience. Can absolutely be recomended.JoInMilan

We had a fantastic tailored 2-day cruise on the Iselina Bella. The yacht is extremely comfortable, clean and refurbished with all sort of drinks and snacks. Our captain Ole was very flexible, friendly and patient with our 3 little kids. Iselin, the owner, has been immensely helpful and available in organizing the trip and customizing it to our needs, including booking restaurants and the hotel, and welcomed us very warmly at one of the stops. In addition to the amazing views of the fjords and the stops at the very nice towns of Jondal and Tysnes, we really liked the incredible Baroniet garden at Rosendal. We’ve been also lucky enough to spot a few dolphins in the fjord. In summary, if you to escape the many tourist traps in Bergen and have a genuine Norwegian experience, this is what you are looking for!Helen A
