Shane was a very accomodating and knowledgeable guide who knows the McLaren Vale area like the back of his hand! As we were happy to take on Shane’s recommendations he organised the whole day for us, and provided an itinerary ahead of time. He picked us up in his immaculately clean car from the airport. With only a day to explore and having never visited Adelaide before, Shane took us on a short detour through Glenelg and by the sea to show us Adelaide before heading off to McLaren Vale, which was very thoughtful of him and much appreciated. Each winery and tasting was fantastic and we wouldn’t have changed a thing. On arrival each place was expecting us as Shane had pre booked and paid. The day was relaxing and enjoyable, although we were definitely wined out for the fourth tasting.. but who’s complaining. I would certainly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to do a winery tour or tour McLaren Vale region - Shane is the right guy for the job!Our driver was Shane a very lovely man. He had printed out the itinerary for us and had made some changed on the day to more suit what my mum would like. My mum sister and I can all agree that the cube was amazing place to go to for the little gallery on the bottom floor and the wine tasting on the top floor with the 360 degree viewWe had a wonderful day of touring the McLarenvale region with Shane as our guide. He was very informative of the local area and hand picked some excellent wineries for us to experience. Our favourite being OliversTaranga. After an email enquiry, Shane was super helpful and ticked all the boxes to ensure we had an amazing day. 3 wineries (as recommended by Shane), a micro brewery, beautiful lunch and all within an easy and relaxing commute from Adelaide with a great guy and knowledgable host. We would definitley book again. The BnB at Buckley Estate Farm sounds enticing also. Cant recommend highly enough.
