This was actually a full day tour for our group of six ladies, led by Shannon. We really enjoyed getting to know an area which is local to most of us but the majority had never been to these places. The staff at each location were knowledgeable and known to Shannon which makes a difference as we felt like we were her friends, being taken to meet her friends. This is a tour well worth doing and is, in fact, our second with Up Close and Local after spending the day in the Margaret River region with Paul last year. For someone who had never organised a wine tour before, the guys at Up Close & Local made it a breeze. We had been wanting to organise a staff outing for a while and it was as easy as sending an email and booking a date. We had a personalised tour, suitable for our staff which varies from 18 year olds up to 50+. The wineries we visited were unique and many of us bought from each place we visited. On the day of the Wine tour Paul was the friendliest guide and made it so we didnt even have to think about anything other than relaxing and enjoying ourselves. All the staff commended him and the company and had a great day. We will definitely be recommending this company and booking with them again.Great day - fabulous food & experience - great wine , whiskey & cider day trip !!!
