I was thrilled with my guide, Zenaida. From the moment we met at the train station until we separated at the New Palace, she was engaging and informative. The Half Day Potsdam Walking Tour was excellent. Our Guide was very knowledgeable and was very informative. Unfortunately , we booked the tour from Berlin and did not clearly understand the train from Berlin to Potsdam. We were at the wrong station and had to uber to the correct station to meet our guide. We lost an hour of the tour here. Would have loved to see the San Soucci Palace inside but it was closed by the time we arrived.Guide’s ability to respond to our interests and frame his presentation accordingly. Good pace. Good historical perspective.

We walked at a reasonable speed and he patiently answered all our questions. Great experience for visitors!

Eleni was a great tour guide. Because of the trains not running from Berlin, she jumped a bus and joined us at lunch. She was a wealth of knowledge, but was fun and personable. She customized the tour so we could focus on areas of interest. Unfortunately, The entire grounds of Sanssouci were closed due to a storm the day before. Apparently that area of Germany doesn't know how to react to high winds and rain, I can say that coming from the Midwest of the United States where nothing ever closes.
All in all it was a great tour and would have been a five star event if Sanssouci hadn't been closed.
Excellent tour lead by Axle, we learnt such a lot. Would recommend doing the tour in better weather ,the parks and palace would be beautiful, also be aware palace is closed on a Monday.
