Muchas Gracias, Susana ! What a wonderful way to learn about Guanajuato. Susana was delightful and she clearly loves her city. We appreciated her personal family connections she shared with us around certain areas that added a more intimate flavor to our experience. There is a vibrant energy to GTO that even exceeded our experiences in other Mexican towns. The walking tour (In English) with Berenice was a great way to get an understanding of the city, from the colonial and independent history to silver mining. As she is from the city she had a thorough understanding, and made for a great tour guide, highly recommend !

Guanajuato is definitely more than a city to visit for its mummies! I learned than on my great walking tour with Antonio, a retired Ming engineer. As we looked down at the city, he explained the mother lodes in the mountains that brought incredible riches to the city. He also explained the relationships between between classes of people. It was so interesting. On the return to my hotel, he explained the intricate tunnel system built by the Spaniards. Antonio is a very educated guide that kept me interested for hours. I highly recommend this as a way to really know this beautiful city!Susana met us at the main Mercado. She was wonderful and very knowledgeable of her historic home of Guanajuato.
