Private Two on One Surf Lesson in Newquay (2 students, 1 instructor)
Overview
The lessons are suitable for complete beginners as well as those who have already had lessons and are looking to improve. Ideally you would both be at a similar level for the coaching to be wholly effective.
NOTE - when booking this, please only select 1 participant for the pricing to be accurate. The price is £160 for 2 people, not £160 per person!
You will be met at the surf school by the coach, who will assess both your surfing experience and tailor the lesson to your current abilities.
These lessons give lots of instruction and assistance over a short period of time, so ideal if you are looking to accelerate the learning process.
• All equipment is included: wetsuits, surfboards and boots and gloves if its in the colder months
• Use of the Escape Surf School facilities including hot showers and changing rooms
• The lesson is 2 hours long

What to expect
Experience private coaching, with a friend or partner, with one of our experienced coaches. Ideal if you want to fast-track your surfing and have an intense session of surf coaching together.
Our private 2 on 1 lessons are ideal if you and your partner or friend want to receive expert coaching but without the group environment.
This offer is best suited if you are both at similar levels with your surfing, but you can be complete beginner or at a more advanced stage; we will tailor the surf coaching to your level.
You will be met at the surf school by the coach, who will assess your surfing experience and tailor the lesson to your current ability. These lessons give lots of instruction and assistance over a short period of time, so ideal if you are looking to accelerate the learning process.
If you have already surfed, then we will use this session to build on more advanced techniques, including paddling, turning and reading the ocean.
For all abilities, we spend approximately 20 minutes on the beach discussing, technique, skills etc. then the remaining time is spent in the ocean catching waves, with hands-on coaching from the surf coach.

Even telling me the best clotted cream location (Sainsbury’s😂😂😂). We had a private lesson as me and my son had never even looked at a surfboard before. Our instructor Henry was absolutely fantastic, really happy to help, loads of knowledge and just all round a genuine lad. He was really attentive in the water and helped my boy all the way so that after about an hour, he started catching waves himself. I would highly recommend Escape if you are after really friendly, attentive staff who just want you to enjoy your time. Having a hot shower after the surfing also helped.Once again I wonderful day with escape Went out with Mike. We live in Essex but try to get there for lessons at least twice a year. We have been surfing with escape for 12 years now. We live in Essex but try to get there for lessons at least twice a year. Last year we started our children surfing (8 and 10) The lesson was absolutely brilliant and both children made it to their feet first time. My 8 year old’s attention span is usually low but Mike managed to keep him fully engaged throughout the initial introduction to surfing , the warm up and the duration of the lesson. They couldn’t wait to get in the water and then once in , they didn’t want to get out. The lesson was really fun but most importantly our children were extremely safe. All facilities are very clean, the showers are amazing and super warm. The staff are brilliant. My children can not wait for their next lesson. We love making memories at Escape.We had 3 lessons and it was our very first time and these guys were amazing! We actually managed to surf from day one! The instructors are great, very professional but also fun. Highly recommended! Thank you for everything, we will definitely come back!
