Stop At: Gandantegchenling Monastery, 1, 5 KM North West of the Central Square, Ulaanbaatar Mongolia
Our first visit is Gandan Buddhist Monastery, which is Mongolia’s largest functioning Buddhist monastery including the Mongolian Buddhist University. The highlight of visiting Gandan is a 26-meter-high majestic gilded indoor statue of Megjid Janraisig.

Stop At: Монголын Үндэсний Музей, Жуулчны Гудамж 1, Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia
Continue to visit the Museum of Mongolian National History – the museum presents Mongolian history and culture from prehistoric times to the present day.

Stop At: Genghis Khan Square, Peace Ave, Ulaanbaatar Mongolia
Visit Sukhbaatar square (Chinggis Square) which is lies at the heart of the city surrounded by important buildings such as the government palace, banks and theaters, and post office. There is an equestrian statue of Sukhbaatar and a massive Bronze statue of Chinggis Khan with his four warriors in front of Parliament House.

Als wir mit dem Zug in Ulaanbaatar angekommen sind, wurden wir sehr freundlich von unserer Reiseführerin empfangen. Die Reiseführerin brachte uns mit ihrem Wissen vieles über die Mongolei bei. Es war spürbar, dass sie ihren Job liebt. Da wir eine spezielle Reise buchten, waren auch noch Franzosen...
Als wir mit dem Zug in Ulaanbaatar angekommen sind, wurden wir sehr freundlich von unserer Reiseführerin empfangen. Die Reiseführerin brachte uns mit ihrem Wissen vieles über die Mongolei bei. Es war spürbar, dass sie ihren Job liebt. Da wir eine spezielle Reise buchten, waren auch noch Franzosen und Spanier dabei. Wir waren 12 Touristen und zwei Tage mit 2 Kleinbussen unterwegs. Die 3 Reisführer (für jede Sprache einen) und die Fahrer organisierten alles sehr gut. Ich kann amicus nur weiterempfehlen.👍👍👍TraceH001

I was pleasantly surprised at how much there was to see in Ulaanbaatar. The city has a lot of historical sites and some very well maintained religious buildings. Amicus worked out a very comprehensive program, and the driver was obliging when I asked to detour from the program.
