Stay away from this tour. The guides are all freelancers and they lead you to places where you are pushed very hard to buy stuff. They also do not fulfill their tour but left me after just 5 hours (should be 8) on my way home. Information given during the trip was very vew. Can not recommend in a...
Stay away from this tour. The guides are all freelancers and they lead you to places where you are pushed very hard to buy stuff. They also do not fulfill their tour but left me after just 5 hours (should be 8) on my way home. Information given during the trip was very vew. Can not recommend in any case and would even go as far as to say it can be dangerous because you are lead to places where you're pressured to buy things. When you then don't buy, the mood gets very bad. If you buy, the guide gets a cut from the massively overpriced items which arw most of the times 10-15x more expensive then they should be. We had a great day exploring the ancient sights. Our driver picked us up from the airport and returned us to the accommodation that we reserved in downtown Cairo. He was very friendly and helpful. We had plenty of time to wander around Giza, Saqqara and Memphis. And we even stopped off to visit...
We had a great day exploring the ancient sights. Our driver picked us up from the airport and returned us to the accommodation that we reserved in downtown Cairo. He was very friendly and helpful. We had plenty of time to wander around Giza, Saqqara and Memphis. And we even stopped off to visit a carpet waving school. We felt it was a perfect way to visit all the sites. Relaxed and hassle free. We would happy recommend this company/ activity to anyone visiting CairoAnna_M

Our guide Mahmoud was friendly, knowledgeable, and obviously proud of his heritage. He knew shortcuts that enabled us to maximize the use of our time. This tour was quite ok, we opted for driver with guide. The main reason for the 2 stars for guide we traveled with. The guide always trying to get commission in everything, she started from mediating with the sellers, camel ride, etc and got commission. She didn't entered into the pyramids and t...
This tour was quite ok, we opted for driver with guide. The main reason for the 2 stars for guide we traveled with. The guide always trying to get commission in everything, she started from mediating with the sellers, camel ride, etc and got commission. She didn't entered into the pyramids and tunnels (due to her health, so we didn't forced her). The main problem was, we asked her to stop in a normal restaurant (not a place the tourists are eating). Hence she cannot get commission she postponded the lunch for 2+ hours, we are out of energy and starving. Finally we agreed to go for any hotel, then she take us to the hotel where she can get commission. And she asked us to visit the paper making institute, there also she try to increase the price and take the commission from the shop. The trip was quite ok, but the guide acted like a good person and tried to cheat us.
