Excellent day well worth doing. Sam the guide was knowledgeable, but also not pushy. The great thing about a private tour is the ability for its itinerary to be changed. Part of the tour was to include the bridge on the river Kwai. As we have been to the bridge on a previous excursion, we dropped that and spent more time on the other features. The elephant feeding was a real experience, just to get that close to three full grown elephants was amazing. The falls were better than the pictures, but this is the wet season, so there was plenty of water flowing. The first five levels of the falls are reasonably accessible, after that we gave up. The upper levels require some real jungle trekking to reach! Lunch was in a shed just above the falls entrance, don't let the looks put you off. The Egg fried rice, with chicken and cashew nut stir fry was as good as any I have ever had.It is a long day with a lot of time in the vehicle, But when you look at that as an hourly rate, it makes the cost seem very reasonable. We liked feeding the elephants but would also enjoy riding an elephant even it cost more. The water falls are beautiful and we loved the the experience.

The highlight was an Elephant camp. Being able to bathe them and ride them, was an experience of a lifetime. Erewan Waterfalls are one of the most beautiful waterfalls my husband and I have ever seen. And we have seen hundreds! The Bridge over the River Kwai was amazing, too. Thana, our guide, was very kind and helpful. We couldn't have asked for a better guide. It was an expensive trip but well worth it.It was just my partner and I taking the tour. Very pleasant day and our driver and tour guide were amazing.

This waterfall and national park were beautiful. It was very refreshing to swim in each of the different pools. We really liked how the fish ate the dead skin off of our feet and bodies. Feeding and riding the elephants was a lot of fun.
