This was a fantastic 2.5 hour tour of Orvieto and its wonderful cathedral. Our guide, Emma, was well informed and provided an excellent overview, answering all our questions and giving us tips for lunch and gelato afterward.

This is another amazing part of this very ancient and amazing medieval city. The Duomo or cathedral was completed around1200AD. The colours of the marble on the outside are very striking and different. The inside is beautiful as you would imagine. the Duomo is surrounded by a large Piazza which makes the whole area very attractive. It costs nothing to go in and if in the area or visiting Orvieto this would be a must.Elena was fantastic!she was thorough and very informative! She was very patient especially in this crazy heat.
