Originally a medieval fishing port, the coastal enclave of Kinsale (from the Irish, Ceann tSaile – ‘Head of the Sea’) is fabled far and wide for its beauty and rich history. Recently hailed by Conde Nast as one of Ireland’s most beautiful towns, it consistently punches above its weight.

Great experience! We would recommend to everyone who visits Dublin. Our driver, Derek was very flexible with our ideas and worked with what we wanted. Even stopped at an amazing distillery! Derek, was very knowledgeable, personable and engaged in conversation with humor. Fun times!

What a great find. we found this on Private Tours Cork Website and reached out. We had a reply in 10 minutes and booked for the next day. Derek collected us and he was fantastic. He went out of his way to make sure we had an amazing day. The weather was amzing which made Blarney castle and gardens so special. Derek introduced us to his friend that has a house next to the castle and we got some amazing stories. We always wanted to see the Jameson distillery so it was amazing to have this in our tour. What can I say, It was worth the wait and even picked up a bottle to take home. We had an amazing day and Derek was so kind. My father and I spent the day with our excellent tour guide, Derek O'Keeffe touring Blarney Castle, Jameson Distillery, and Cobh. Not only did those highlights exceed our expectations, but Derek went above and beyond to make us comfortable and cater to what we wanted to see. We had some extra time so we stopped at a stunning Native American monument, and Derek gave us a walk around UCC, while reminiscing of his time there. The personal touch to the tour made for an experience we will never forget, and I couldn't recommend Derek O'Keeffe Day Tours enough. A five star rating alone doesn't encompass the depth and wisdom shared on this tour, and we want to extend our gratitude for this incredible experience of a lifetime.
