We booked a one day private wine tour with Mauricio based on the overall excellent reviews that were offered. From the very first email inquiry to the time he dropped us off at our hotel, I have nothing but good things to say about Mauricio. Everything was delivered as promised. He picked some very good wineries for us to visit and the lunch he scheduled was fabulous. I would not hesitate to book another tour with Mauricio when we return to the area.fernanda a

Unfortunately, our experience with Mauricio wasn´t good at all. My boyfriend and I hired his tour in advance and he ended up forgetting our appointment and stading us up. We waited for an hour and he never showed up!!!! We had the entire day planned and for his fault, we had to pay 30% cancellati...
Unfortunately, our experience with Mauricio wasn´t good at all. My boyfriend and I hired his tour in advance and he ended up forgetting our appointment and stading us up. We waited for an hour and he never showed up!!!! We had the entire day planned and for his fault, we had to pay 30% cancellation fees to the wineries because we cancelled on the last minute. My boyfriend had a business visit arranged as well for that day and all of that went down to hill. We just received an email later from Mauricio saying that there was a "misunderstanding". Which one? All the email were clear enough he even had confirmed us! We never knew because he never said anything! But, we are not bad people and we decided to give him a second chance. Next day, he picked us up, we shared the service with an Italian girl that was extremely nice, lucky us. But, another problem: at the beginning of our trip he stated that our lunch was already paid and we didn´t have to worry about it, as a way to say sorry for what had happened. We thought, "well, he is professional", and we accepted his treat. Long story short, at the end of the day he charged us the trip plus the two lunches saying that he had said from the beginning that we had to refund him for the food. What?? We couldn´t believe our ears. It was a big disappointment and it really affected our appreciation and opinion about Mauricio and his professionalism. And worst part, he was not able to give my boyfriend and explanation or reason for the "misunderstanding". I won´t recomend him, but this was just our experience.Ron1313

We had an excellent day with Mauricio's colleague, Fernando. He arrived promptly at 9am to pick us up, spoke fluent English, and was extremely knowledgeable and helpful throughout the day. I'd done some research beforehand and emailed back and forth with Mauricio discussing which wineries to visit in the Lujan de Cuyo region, and he was always extremely quick to reply, and share his thoughts and advice. We were really happy with the wineries we visited, each very unique and fascinating in their own way, and had an outstanding lunch at Ruca Malen in the most beautiful setting. All in all, a really fun, relaxed and interesting day and a great way to visit the wine regions in style - I wouldn't hesitate to recommend booking a tour with Mauricio and his team!chaddo2015
