In 1985 Argentina's national park was declared a World Heritage Site. Brazil's national park followed a year later and since 2012 the Iguassu Falls have been one of the seven natural wonders of the world, where millions of visitors are enchanted by this natural beauty every year.
In the midst of the subtropical rainforest, various hiking trails and footbridges have been developed in the upper course of the river, where you are guided step by step through this natural spectacle.
Today it is not uncommon, thanks to the conservation program “projeto carnívoro”, aimed at preserving endangered predators, that the number of jaguars has increased significantly and they are often sighted in the parks.
The Fauna&Flora of Iguassu is home to over 76 mammals such as the tapir, the largest mammal in South America, pumas, capuchin monkeys, over 400 species of birds such as toucans, parrots and hummingbirds, and thousands of flowering plants such as orchids and helicônias.

Pick up was easy , on time , our guide Rodrigo spoke very good English and was very knowledgeable about a lot of subjects including explaining about the falls etc. very prepared and had us on the first train on Argentina Side . I had a great time with Rodrigo! He was super knowledgeable about the the waterfalls from both side, gave me a lot of history and information about nature/wildlife there. I'm so glad i was able to do the tour to both side with him. Highly recommend!

Rodrigo hat unsere kleine Gruppe kompetent und super betreut. Seine Ortskenntnis und Kenntnis der Menschen ist unübertroffen. Es macht einfach Spaß, seinen Geschichten zu den Wasserfällen, den Tieren und Pfanzen zuzuhören. Auch auf unsere Nachfragen ist er mit einer "Engels"-Geduld eingegangen. A...
Rodrigo hat unsere kleine Gruppe kompetent und super betreut. Seine Ortskenntnis und Kenntnis der Menschen ist unübertroffen. Es macht einfach Spaß, seinen Geschichten zu den Wasserfällen, den Tieren und Pfanzen zuzuhören. Auch auf unsere Nachfragen ist er mit einer "Engels"-Geduld eingegangen. Auch sein "Hobby" mit seiner Hundezucht ist ein Zuhören wert. Wir konnten selbst noch Dinge aus unserer alten Heimat der Pfalz und dem Saarland neu kennenlernen. Seine Tour und vor allem er selbst ist eine Weiterempfehlung wert. Jutta & Friedel Rodrigo is an excellent guide for this region.
