Amazing tour and good tour guide and driver named Yuk. He was prompt picking us up for our private tour in an SUV, which was comfortable, good AC, and had an adapter to play our music from our phones. The caves were interesting and different than others. No more than 800m from beginning to end. Pretty easy walk. The Wat Tham Phabong temple had a beautiful view at the top but you had to really work for it, 502 steps up, then back down. Lunch was great. Yuk ordered for us fried spring rolls, chicken wings, chicken with veggies, a soup with chicken and potatoes, and a sautéd veggie dish with a fruit platter for dessert. Then we visited a small village area to view the women from three different tribes (long neck, long ear and anuk) selling their handiwork. The Grand Blue Temple was the highlight of the day! Gorgeous temples full of color and intricate opulence. Finally ended the day and “sticky falls”. My mind was blown! One can really walk up the waterfall without slipping as easy as walking up while hiking. Water is clear and refreshing. There is no swimming but I laid on the rocks and relaxed as the water ran down. Awesome day and applauses to Yuk for his knowledge, energy and driving skills. Would super recommend the tour, company and tour guide to anyone! And a bonus was the little cold face towels Yuk would hand us with cold water after every stop. Our tour guide, May, picked us up and discussed the order that we would visit each site, making sure that the time he planned for lunch was good for us. Our tour guide, May, picked us up and discussed the order that we would visit each site, making sure that the time he planned for lunch was good for us. May spoke excellent English and was very knowledgeable, not only about the sites that we visited, but also Thai culture and history. The visit to the Kayan village and "Long Neck People" was interesting. Yes, they want you to buy souvenirs, but you learn their history and see how they live today, combining the old ways with modern technology. It was pretty interesting. The temples were interesting and beautiful and well worth the time to visit. The waterfall was an awesome last stop on the tour. We were able to cool off and had a lot of fun! Lunch was at a Thai restaurant and May had double checked for any dietary restrictions and preferences before ordering our lunch to be ready within minutes of us arriving. The food was delicious! There were 5 dishes along with fresh fruit for dessert. We were stuffed by time we were done! We arrived back at our hotel around 5 and were completely satisfied with our day. We would highly recommend this tour and our guide May. The only caution is that there are a lot of steps at the first temple with a spot to rest along the way. But at the sticky waterfall, there are many uneven steps to get to the bottom and it can be strenuous climbing up the falls. We have booked it only one day before the tour, thankfully communication was fast and we had no trouble booking tour. We have booked it only one day before the tour, thankfully communication was fast and we had no trouble booking tour. Our gide May was very knowledgeable and proffesional, he answered all our questions and with all the stories gave us clearer insight about Thailand. We visited two temples and we least expected of them, but with May tour we were fascinated by the size, beauty and story of the temples. Sticky watterfall was a nice chalange nice thing to experience, Abiut Karen village i need to mention that you won’t feel that autenthical, it is mainly done for the tourists with many souvenirs which you can buy in the city. Also it was very nice that May showed our the real local market and we couldn’t imagine that there you can buy for example chicken embryo All in all it was great experiance, great english skills and luxurious vehicle!:)que celle de Chiang Dao,malgré quelques passages difficile pour mon age.De belles photos en perspectives.
