We enjoyed a private tour with Algarve Discovery and could not have been happier! We were on a cruise and had no problem booking ahead or finding our guides. Portimao is a small enough port to get around on foot too. The guides were friendly, enthusiastic, informative, and professional. Luis was our guide and did a fantastic job. The caves themselves were of course amazing as you can see from others' photos but what made doing a private tour unique was the fact you weren't crammed into a boat with others (we could see other boats on our excursion) and could interact much more with Luis and his skipper. Highly recommend!Wonderful tour! Great guide, beautiful scenery!! Seeing the caves from the boat was so neat!! Would recommend this tour!

Definitely worth spending extra for the private boat. They took us in and around all the caves and beautiful beaches and let us stop to take pictures and swim. If you're after a boat tour, this is the company to book with!

They were very knowledgeable and shared a lot of interesting information but gave us a terrific personal experience. Well worth it!

Staff was kind and prepared. 2h cruise has been very enteresting, Benagil cave and all the rest of the coast are incredible!
