Your local great guide and the driver will pick up at your Shanghai hotel at your preferred time. Hop on to the comfortable, air-conditioned MPV van and enjoy the nice ride to Suzhou. On the way, spend few mins to discuss with your guide and choose the sites to visit in Suzhou. Follow is the recommended itinerary, as private tour, your itinerary is totally flexible and be sure to let the guide know if need make adjustment .Typically, upon arrival at Suzhou, choose to visit the top four famous garden: The Humble Administrator’s Garden, spend quality time to explore different sections, appreciate the charming and elegance of ancient Ming Dynasty garden while learning the interesting history, culture, custom from your guide. If you prefer a more intimate garden, you could substitute to the other garden such as Master of Nets Garden, Lingering Garden, Lion Forest Garden etc.

Continue the fun afternoon tour to famous water town, if you choose ZhouZhuang option, you will take a stroll in the old alley streets to soak up its charms and admire famed twin bridges. Plus, visit Mr. Shen Wansan’s House, the courtyard residence of a 14th-century tycoon whose wealth inspired the envy of the first of China's Ming emperor. Admire the classical architecture of Shen’s House as you learn about his fascinating life, you may choose to enjoy a relaxing gondola ride to fully appreciate the beautiful township scenery.
If you choose Tongli water town option, you will vist the UNESCO-listed Tuisi Garden, walk cross lucky three Ring bridges, explore the stone-paved alley streets and enjoy an optional gondola boat ride to immerse yourself in the serene and picturesque township scenery.
Your tour will then finish with a transfer and drop-off back at your hotel in downtown Shanghai or other downtown area as per requests.

I booked a trip to Suzhou and Zhouzhuang with Sunny Tours Shanghai on very short notice. They were truly flexible and helpful in planning the trip the day before departure, and really let me have a say in where to go and what to do. Martin my guide picked me up at my hotel the next morning and we made the trip to Suzhou in about 70 minutes. Martin is extremely knowledgeable and gave me a great introduction to Suzhou old town and its Classical Chinese Gardens. We visited the main historical sights including the ancient main gate, the pagoda and a real beauty of a Classical Garden. We had a nice lunch at a place Martin recommended before we drove to Zhouzhuang Water Town. This was a real highlight of the trip. It is an extremely beautiful place, full of Instagram moments. We strolled along the sides of the canals crisscrossed the narrow cobblestone streets, crossed loads of beautiful bridges visited the one time home of one of Zhouzhuangs rich and famous in the town’s heyday and finally took a boat trip on the canal. Martin really knows the history and was full of interesting facts and stories throughout the day. I really recommend a trip with Sunny Tours Shanghai. If you’re short on time and don’t have a whole day to spend but want to see one of the famous water towns I’d definitely go for Zhouzhuang. It is an amazing place.Matthew_P

I wanted to say how wonderful and friendly Annie was on our trip. The first thing she did was ask for our expectations on what we wanted to see. From there she gave a very personalized tour. She was knowledgeable and answered many questions. She was excellent to communicate with and so receptive to our requests. It was great practicing my Chinese with her she made it flow simply. The tour did a great job challenging me intellectually both in knowledge and culturally. This is a rare quality in a tour guide. Having been on many tours with Viator this was definitely one of the top tours I have been on. The driver was quick, present, and had a lovely luxury tour bus with excellent cleanliness. I hope that Viator keeps using quality tour groups such as Sunny Tours for future bookings in China.Paradise68560986453

Her english is impecable, so need not to worry about that Zhouzhuang was the highlight of our trip, very beautiful, and Sunny managed to get us there avoiding crowded hours. We enjoyed our time with Sunny. I contacted her not only for the tour but also pick up to and from the airport to our hotels. Drivers were reliable and cars were great. She ordered for us but definitely wanted us to experience local cuisine. We are glad to have tried the “squirrel fish” - probably would not have ordered if Sunny was not with us. We wanted to see more of Shanghai than just the city so we decided to take this tour. Sunny, our guide was wonderful and knowledgable. She greeted us on time and had a wonderful day planned. We spent the morning at the Humble Administrator's garden in Suzhou which was beautiful. Sunny made the place some alive with her expert explanations and sense of humour. We had a great lunch in Suzhou and then spend the afternoon in Tongli. Tongli was a refreshing surprise not crowded and less touristy than some of the other water towns. the gardens there were also beautiful. It was a full day and everything ran smoothly from beginning to end. Sunny was able to tailor the day to our interests and offered us various options to fill the day. She answered all our questions about culture and history, It was a highlight of our trip to China. I would highly recommend this tour and Sunny in particular
