This was 100% the highlight of our time in Ho Chi Minh! My husband and I did the private street food tour guided by students on motorbikes and had an absolute blast! Our guides, Long and Dat, were amazing! They were super friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and so much fun to spend an evening with. They made us feel super comfortable on the bikes and were such an absolute pleasure to hang out with!! Long and Dat were genuinely super nice people that made the entire experience wonderful. We'd hang out with Long and Dat any way of the week :) The food spots they took us to were the best dishes we ate during our time in Vietnam! We loved hearing their explanations of the dishes as well as the history of the specific locations we went to. Overall, we truly cannot recommend this experience enough! Great night out with our guides Nhu and Phúc! Super nice and social guys. We started out focused on the food itself but ended up talking about our private lives and hobbies. Safe driving and very good service. We got a lot of information on the different dishes and Vietnamese culture in general...
Great night out with our guides Nhu and Phúc! Super nice and social guys. We started out focused on the food itself but ended up talking about our private lives and hobbies. Safe driving and very good service. We got a lot of information on the different dishes and Vietnamese culture in general. The food itself was also fantastic. Good mix and lots of it. Go easy on the early dishes, because you will get stuffed as the night goes on! We tried a lot of new things and were very impressed, not least by the instructions on how to eat certain things and what herbs/sauces to add. Big props to the guys for helping me assemble a list of all the dishes we've tried. We had the private tour with a few more dishes. All in all - a fantastic night and one of the highlights of our three month trip in SEA. Big thanks to Nhu and Phúc!
