We had high expectations and thought this would be the highlight of our vacation. Unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment. We assumed the tour would take us farther into areas where we couldn't travel by foot. Instead we literally drive alongside hikers, and soon realized we could've saved $550 and hiked the very short trail ourselves! With a driver/guide named Maverick you KNOW you’re in great hands! I cannot recommend this experience enough - but if you’re able to get him specifically I would! It’s a rugged, exciting jaunt up a pass that one would never believe is possible in a vehicle of any sort.

The sunset on the red rocks created incredible views, so I would highly encourage booking the 5:30 slot of you can. The road is bumpy, so hang on tight, but that really adds to the fun. Our guide was incredibly knowledgable, patient with our 10000 questions, friendly, and passionate about his job. We felt really lucky to have had the opportunity to tour the area with Dave and had a truly unforgettable adventure. Thank you for everything!Tour is 90 min, not 2 hours! Bait and switch.
