Upon arrival at Katakolon Port, you will be picked up from the spot and at the time arranged. We will be there holding a sign with your name clearly written on it, so that it is easier for you to recognize us. Afterwards you will enjoy safe and comfortable transfer in our luxurious Mercedes vehicles. After an approx. 30 min of enjoyable ride you will reach Ancient Olympia. We will drop you off just outside of the world-wide famous Archaeological Site of Ancient Olympia. The Archaeological Museum of Olympia, one of the most important museums in Greece, presents the long history of the most celebrated sanctuary of antiquity, the sanctuary of Zeus, father of both gods and men, where the Olympic games were born. The museum's permanent exhibition contains finds from the excavations in the sacred precinct of the Altis dating from prehistoric times to the Early Christian period.

Agios Andreas is a beautiful rocky beach, a place of outstanding natural beauty as it was the ancient harbour of Ileia. You will be given approx. 1hr of free time to spend at the beach where you can have coffee, lunch, take photos or have a swim.

Uso bastón y las características del lugar me dificultaron el recorrido porque estaba empeñada en recorrer la zona olímpica a pesar de que no era lo aconsejado para quienes no tuvieran las condiciones físicas necesarias. Nos encantó la ciudad de Olympia aunque yo me cansé mucho. Uso bastón y las características del lugar me dificultaron el recorrido porque estaba empeñada en recorrer la zona olímpica a pesar de que no era lo aconsejado para quienes no tuvieran las condiciones físicas necesarias. El conductor fue especialmente amable. Aunque no estaba autorizado a estacionar más cerca del lugar, nos acompañó hasta la entrada que no era tan cerca, por lo menos para mí, ofreciéndome su ayuda, no necesaria porque estaba con mi esposo que me cuida bien. No me arrepiento de haber ido. Visitamos también el Museo Arqueológico, que bien vale la pena verlo, y el Museo de Arquímedes, pequeño pero interesante. El Centro es muy pequeño pero satisface las necesidades de quien desea llevar regalos a casa. Al volver del primer museo cruzamos una plaza muy agradable donde tomamos un refresco. Fue delicioso estar allí! Sol y sombra, para todos los gustos, buganvillas en flor y árboles frondosos, nos invitaron a descansar un rato. Me gustó sentir la charla y los cordiales saludos de los oriundos del lugar, entre ellos nuestro conductor; se ve que todos se conocen e incluso que se encuentran con frecuencia para compartir ratos de ocio. Seguro que la mayoría están emparentados! Apenas comenzamos a pararnos, nuestro conductor -Disculpe, olvidé su nombre- se acercó por si lo necesitábamos y para aconsejarnos sobre qué era lo que podíamos hacer a continuación. Por supuesto nos llevó a los mejores lugares para tomar fotos y disfrutar del hermoso día de sol, templado y con una tenue brisa muy agradable. Un consejo: si ustedes van en octubre y va a estar temprano en tierra, lleve un abrigo liviano porque lo precisará en las primeras horas aunque luego podrá prescindir de él si el día es soleado; además, se acalorará con el ejercicio En una palabra: visite Olympia! Ojalá recordara el nombre del conductor! Lo recomendaría porque en todo momento estuvo impecable!
