Spent a lovely morning cycling around Pulau Ubin with Jeff. He shared lots of knowledge about nature (plants & animals) as we went around, which was really cool. Very refreshing to be in nature especially since we spend all our time in the bustling city. Appreciated that the bikes he provided are good quality, so it made cycling on the gravel roads more comfortable. Overall, this is a really value for money tour that I’d 100% recommend. We had a wonderful morning with Jeff who shared with us many interesting facts of the island, from flora, fauna to the ecosystem of Check Jawa. If it were not for him, we would have missed out many of the wildlife in the mangroves! Jeff articulates with ease in English and Mandarin, and his knowledge is often peppered with local references, making it relatable and fun at the same time. A sincere, friendly, experienced and passionate guide, who made the tour for us a delightful and thoroughly enjoyable experience. Highly recommended! The route has less than five uphills to cycle but they are not very long, and totally ok to push up the bike (I did for one!). The entire tour has a good mix of walking, climbing (steps and natural path) and cycling.
