The guide had great stories and we talked not just about all the temples but also living in India and Chennai in general. All the transport and food was very well arranged (which in India is an amazing job based on all my other experiences during our 3 weeks there). As the name of her company indicates, the style is to tell stories related to what we saw. Some of these were general history but most were personal or family anecdotes. One of the best things we did on this week long business trip to India. As an introduction to customs and culture in the south generally, let alone Mylapore in particular, I doubt you will find a better use of three hours!
