Tasting fees are often waived if clients buy wine. Tasting fees are between R60pp - R100pp per estate. You can select the option that suits your budget and wine preferences at each estate.
Excluding the tasting fees makes the tour more flexible and really saves the customer money in the end.

We stop here for a cheese & wine pairing. 5 cheeses paired with 5 wines. If available we also view the barrels and see the wine cellar. Stunning mountain and lake views.

Stop At: Kleinood, Blaauwklippen Rd, Stellenbosch, 7600, South Africa
Small Boutique estate. Not open on Sundays. We taste the excellent wines called the Tamboerskloof range. Especially known for they Syrah. We also taste olive oil and visit the Die Boeren farm shop. There are ducks on the farm and the architecture is something special

Stop At: Dornier Wine Estate, Blaauwklippen Road, Stellenbosch 7600 South Africa
Dornier or Waterford can be the lunch stop. At Dornier cheese & meat platters will be available as a light lunch. Here we can do a light lunch and wine tasting together or just a tasting. Again the architecture and landscape and views are amazing. Guest can also step into the vines with the guide here for some educational talk.

A taste of Italy in SA!! step down the lemon tree lane to walk into a Tuscan style tasting villa! Guests can do a normal wine tasting or chocolate & wine pairing here. Or the lunch can be booked here at SALT restaurant. Lunch and tasting fees are on guests own account at all stops.

One of the best decisions of my life was to approach Antoinette Koch of Camino Tours Stellenbosch to arrange a private wine tour for my 60th birthday celebration. Antoinette provided an unforgettable experience with the fondest memories. After a delicious breakfast at Neethlingshof Wine Estate, we started our tour in the Camino Tours' bus with Louis Koch who has incredible knowledge of the winelands, behind the wheel. Our first stop was at Yonder Hill with breathtaking views and Olive & Wine pairing, followed by the highlight of the day, Mont Marie Wine Estate where we were able to enjoy an exceptional special lunch with excellent service. The tour concluded with Chocolate & Wine pairing at idyllic Waterford Wine Estate. Antoinette even made sure the little ones could play on play equipment and enjoy a kiddies chocolate & hot chocolate pairing. Antoinette & Louis Koch are excellent at what they do and even offer guests accommodation in their and other guest houses at excellent rates. I have been on many tours, and highly recommend Camino Tours for any tour planned in and around Cape Town, including Stellenbosch, Franschhoek and surrounding areas. Many thanks once again. This was the perfect wine tour for my Mother and I. We had met Louis a couple of days prior to this tour as we had also done the Cape Peninsula tour with him from Cape Town (which was amazing!) Louis is a wonderful guide. He is very knowledgeable about wine and South Africa in general and is great fun to be with for the day. All the vineyards we visited were fantastic and each had their own character. We never felt rushed by Louis and he made our day really memorable. We also managed to try some exceptional wine! My favorites being Domaine Coutellier, Moreson and Stony Brook! I communicated with Antoinette a lot prior to the tour and she was so helpful and knew exactly what we were looking for in a tour. He also helped us with the lunch reservation at the Tokara restaurant. Although we finished our lunch later than expected (had been waiting for our main dishes from the kitchen for over an hour), Louis still managed to show us around the Town of Stellenbosch and all the wine places as planned.
