Private One on One Surf Lesson in Newquay, for Beginners / Novice Surfers
Overview
The lessons are suitable for complete beginners as well as those who have already had lessons and are looking to improve.
You will be met at the surf school by the coach, who will assess your surfing experience and tailor the lesson to your current ability.
These lessons give lots of instruction and assistance over a short period of time, so ideal if you are looking to accelerate the learning process.
• All equipment is included: wetsuits, surfboards and boots and gloves if its in the colder months
• Use of the Escape Surf School facilties including hot showers and changing rooms

What to expect
Experience private coaching with with one of our experienced surf coaches: ideal if you want to fast-track your surfing.
This course is great for beginners looking for an intense introduction to surfing. However this course is perfect if you've already had a few surf lessons and are looking to improve your technique, catch more waves or iron out bad habits.

For all abilities, we spend approximately 20 minutes on the beach discussing, technique, skills etc. then the remaining time is spent in the ocean catching waves, with hands-on coaching from the surf coach.

My teenage daughter surfed with Escape over 5 days this last week and had a superb experience. 4 of those days she joined larger groups and on the last day she got 1:1 coaching from Mike, the owner (and a hugely experienced surfer with international competition experience). All of the sessions were well run and high calibre, with coaches who remained focused and committed to student advancement the whole time. These folks are really professional, friendly and do a great job. The final session in the water with Mike was brilliant - my daughter said it was one of the best days of her life! She made great progress and felt she learned more about surfing in that 2 or so hours, than the rest of the week - and to be clear, she loved the rest of the week too. We felt the entire week represented excellent value for money. If you're looking for somewhere to progress your surfing skills, from total beginner all the way through to competition standard - this is the place to go. Thank you Escape for being so very easy to deal with too.I highly recommend Mike and the Escape team. I was made to feel welcome and the knowledge gained was priceless. I will certainly be returning very soon.

Staff are very friendly and make sure you learn to surf the right way, would highly recommend!Everyone was so friendly and welcoming including the lady on reception and all the instructors. The lessons were engaging and helpful. I felt I improved so much over my two days of lessons. Will definitely be coming back for more lessons in the future!
