Our last day in Oahu was spent on The Real Hawaii Private Tour and it turned out to be our best outing. We circled the island and saw and learned about sights we didn’t expect to see. Patrick was our tour guide. He was most knowledgeable and accommodating. Being retirees, he customized our tour to cater to our interests and needs. We had questions and Patrick took the time to provide us with facts and inside stories related to Hawaii’s history. We also visited unique sites which not everyone gets to see, including a visit to a rum-making factory....rum-tasting included. My friends and I were in search of authentic local food, something we had difficulty finding within the surroundings of our hotel. We were taken to a hole-in-the wall place with a poi factory at the back. We ordered poi, laulau, and kalua pig (his recommendations). We were then driven to a nearby park for a relaxing picnic lunch. Having a great view of Chinaman’s Hat was a bonus. It was a most pleasant, enjoyable, and stress-free day. I highly recommend this tour to my family and friends and whoever may get to read this review. Many thanks to Patrick!Excellent private tour. I would recommend his trip if you're visiting here.We had SUCH a good time. This was a great, action-packed tour of the island. Worth paying more so you're not herded on a giant bus.
