We will an IN DEPTH experiential tourism
While walking through the forest that surround the farm is an adventure the absolute quietude and peace of a pristine forest.
The Estuary ride on a motorised canoe is an experience beyond words with a wide variety of birds and learning the interaction of the mangroves with crabs and birds.
At the cacao farm we´ll sample approximately a dozen fruits harvested by ourselves right from the trees. And learn in absolute detail how chocolate is produced from the fresh fruit all the way to chocolate paste.
Our passionate team of guides and drivers only enhance this adventure further.

The Gulf of Guayaquil is one of the few remaining mangroves forests that still survive in the world, with its remarkable importance for biodiversity and conservation.
It is located just 80 minutes from Guayaquil and is recognized as a paradise for bird-watching. This location has three attractions:
• ESTUARY ROUTE: A place where we enjoy the wildlife of the estuary. The mangrove ecosystem and its importance, the interaction between plants, crabs and birds. A place where we can see dozens of species of birds in their natural habitat.
• CERRO DEL MUERTO Birdwatching and Dry mountain climb This spot offers an opportunity for: A short trail walk up a rock will grant us the most awesome views, there´s a lagoon nearby where we have an interesting birds population OR
We can spend some time at the beach exploring the traditions of the local fishermen and also swimming for a while
• COCOA FARM: Witness the making of chocolate from cocoa beans and we will have a pleasant afternoon of experiential tourism. Enjoy a delicious traditional Ecuadorian food in a rustic cottage.

• Seco de gallina ( chicken stew ecuadorian recipe) - this is traditional chicken stew with local spices (not hot spices nor too spicy) this is a traditional every day meal in Ecuador
• Chocolate cake, or chocolate bars or chocolate bathed fresh fruits - Since this is s chocolate fram the dessert will be chocolate related
• Fresh tropical fruits directly from the tree to the mouth - We will walk through the farm harvesting and sampling a wide variety of tropical fruits. Paya mango pineapple and many others

We spent a day touring with Eddie to a Cacao Plantation and to Guayaquil. This day was one of the highlights of our wonderful cruise through the Panama Canal. It was by far the best tour we took on our entire trip. We usually use private guides on our cruises, and Eddie is probably the best guide we’ve ever toured with. He is very knowledgable, speaks excellent English, and planned our day to meet our interests, comfort and mobility limitations. He has a delightful personality, and is an expert professional. His van was very comfortable, and his excellent driver allowed Eddie to focus on explaining all we saw. Although we were well outside of the city, we never were concerned for our safety with Eddie. The plantation experience wonderful. The young owner was our guide, with Eddie translating to English. He assured us we could safely eat the food prepared for us at the plantation, and everything they served was very tasty. Despite my very short notice (the evening before!), Eddie arranged a brilliant day trip for me to the Churute mangroves ecological reserve followed by a tour and lunch at a Cacao farm. Eddie was really professional and informative throughout. Eddie uses a dedicated driver so that he can focus on providing the most information that he can and to also look out for wildlife through out the day. The choice of cacao farm was also great - a friendly family owned business that showed great enthusiasm for their crop and artesan chocolates. Excursión muy recomendable. Eduardo e un guía entusiasta y muy profesional que nos resolvió todas nuestras preguntas de una manera muy interesante y didáctica . Los paisajes que vimos fueron increíbles y pudimos comprobar la enorme diversidad de la naturaleza de Guayaquil. Mi agradecimiento tambien para Roberto nuestro conductor. Rodi y su familia nos mostraron todo el proceso de fabricación del chocolate en su magnifica finca de cacao. La visita fue muy amena y nos hicieron sentir como en casa.
