This is a typical itinerary for this product
Stop At: Roatan, Roatan, Bay Islands
Our team will meet you right outside the parking lot of the port in Coxen Hole or at Mahogany bay. Once you reach the designated area look for a sign that reads REAL DEAL ROATAN TOURS. Once you have your assinged private tour guide we will begin the tour by driving through the wonderful streets of downtown roatan.
You will get a first hand experience of the local life and markets in downtown. Our first stop is a viewpoint where you can take pictures of the entire island and do some souvenir shopping as well. Next we head towards the westside of the island and stop at the Monkey and sloth park where you get a chance to see the animals in thier natural habitat.
Once we are done here we go to West End and try some delicious homemade chocolate at the chocolate factory and even try some local food as well. On our way back to port we will also stop at the giante ROATAN sign for some pictures of the family.

What a fantastic guide Johann is! We had a delightful day with him, learning about island life on Roatan and Honduras. We toured various communities, the Chocolate factory and our favorite - the monkey and sloth farm. How fun it was to be so close and personal with these inquisitive and playful animals! My daughter was in love with all of the sloths - big smiles in all the pics. Johann was a great island ambassador, easy going, fun and so accommodating! Highly professional - would recommend him to anyone interested in maximizing their time on this beautiful island. Our only regret was the rainy weather derailed our snorkeling plans and road construction kept us from discovering the whole island. Just means we have to go back!We booked the Hug a Sloth tour and added horseback riding. We were a little leery about booking a shore excursion outside the cruise ship, especially since we were 2 women in a foreign country. We booked the Hug a Sloth tour and added horseback riding. We were a little leery about booking a shore excursion outside the cruise ship, especially since we were 2 women in a foreign country. However, the moment we met our tour guide, Williams, our worries subsided. Williams was truly a gentleman. He always dropped us off at the door, parked the car, and then came back to personally hand us off to the guide at each stop. He even got our tickets and made sure we completed all the necessary liability forms when needed. In addition to the sloth and horseback riding, he took us to 2 popular spots for pictures and stopped at a chocolate factory (we skipped the second chocolate factory and rum factory tours because we wanted to spend some time at the beach). Everywhere we went, he offered to take our pictures (and did a fantastic job) and gave us some history during the car ride. The car was clean, comfortable, and air-conditioned. Williams spoke fluent Spanish so he even helped us haggle at the market stalls. At the end of the tour, he dropped us off at the entrance of Mahogany Beach per our request. He then told us about a nature trail that we could take to get back to our cruise ship. The nature walk was shaded and had several spots for great pictures. We were so happy that he mentioned the trail to us because it was easily missed if you didn't know it was there.
