What to expect
I offer hands on or demonstration cooking classes and of course all we cook, you can eat too :)
I am internationally certified as:
1. Professional Cook by the Government of Germany
2. Chef Educator by World Association of Chefs (WACS)
3. Graduated with a University degree in Gastronomy, certified by the Secretary of Education of Mexico
4. Maitre Cusinier by the culinary association of France
I have been working internationally as a Chef and Chef Educator over 28 years and in total in the Gastronomy Business I have been working over 33 years professionally and love to share what I know.
Sample Menu
• ‘Sopa de Tortilla’ (Mexican Tortilla/Aztec soup) - Chicken/tomatoe broth, served with fried Pasilla chili, corn chips, avocado, cream and fresh ranchero cheese)
• ‘Pescado a la Veracruzana’ (Veracruz Style snapper filet) - steamed inside a banana leaf, with a rich tomato sauce which includes olives, capers, bell peppers, onion & more
• ‘Buñuelos’ (Mexican Fritters served with a syrup sauce) - made with piloncillo sugar, guava fruit, citrus fruit, anise, cinnamon, vanilla and more

This class was the most educational class I have ever been a part of. We have taken many classes across Mexico and I learned more about the history of Mexican food as well as the health benefits of the traditional cooking practices than any other class. Everyone should take this class it was extremely eye opening as well as enjoyable and easy to follow along. plus you get to make some delightful food.This class was amazing! Chef David is very knowledgeable and engaging. I had so much fun learning about traditional Mexican cuisine and especially preparing and eating the food. This was definitely a 10/10 experience that I will be able to take home with me!

We had such a wonderful experience with David. First off, my husband got sick and couldn’t leave his bed on the day of our class. David was very kind and was able to move us to the next day. We loved touring the market and David created a menu for us full of foods that were delicious and gentle on the stomach given the circumstances. He’s clearly so passionate about the heritage and origins of the cuisine and is truly a professional. We learned a ton and appreciated all the personal attention and the intimate experience. I would book this again in a heartbeat.
