Stop At: Montecarlo, Montecarlo, Province of Lucca, Tuscany
Montecarlo is a magical medieval town that sits above the Lucca plain. It has earned the Touring Club's Orange Flag, a symbol of a high-quality tourist destination.
Famed for the dazzling beauty of its surrounding landscape, it is also known as a major wine-producing area, as its far-stretching vineyards testify. The town's well-preserved historic centre stands within a splendid circuit of walls on top of a lone hill, which reaches a height of 163 metres above sea level.
This Montecarlo - Tuscany's rather than Monaco's - has illustrious roots. It was founded by Charles IV, who had freed Lucca from Pisan dominion: hence the name Montecarlo (Mons Caroli in Latin), meaning Charles' mountain.
The guide will lead you in the discover of the village.
Duration: 1 hour
Stop At: Fattoria del Teso, Via Torino, Montecarlo Italy
After the welcome you will leave for an interesting and suggestive walk through 5 of our magnificent vineyards, guided by our oenologist who will tell you about the story of Fattoria del Teso and of Montecarlo and will show you the different kinds of vineyards, exposing you cultivation methods, grape varieties, features of the DOC of Montecarlo and much more.
At the end of the walk in the countryside, you will be guided back to the Fattoria and under the porch in front of the ancient cellar with the historic barrels, or inside the cellar, you will be tasting 5 of our wines, guided by our sommelier paired with a selection of local cured meats and cheeses and Altopascio bread with our extra virgin olive oil

We did two tours with Bespoke Tuscany and they were both excellent. We went truffle hunting and then used the truffles found, to make our lunch in the kitchen of an ancient Tuscany villa, guided by a renown chef. My husband can not stop raving about this experience! The second tour was a day in the countryside of Tuscany visiting wineries and enjoying a delicious lunch at one of our stops. We fell in love with Chianti and the beautiful villages and wineries we visited. Our guide, and owner of Bespoke Tuscany was fabulous! I highly recommend Martina and her tour company. We will be back!richarddI3014XZ

The reason for the poor review is that neither of the vineyards visited were the ones stated in the booking. This is not a cheap tour! We are not, however, wine experts, so in itself this wasn't a huge problem for us EXCEPT we had already visited one of these before (and had the the lunch there both times too). We didn't want to make a fuss at the time so as not to spoil the day for the others on the trip who hadn't been there before. The reason for not giving an even lower score is that the guide was very knowledgeable and was passionate and informative about the wines in this area.
