What to expect
Kayaking is an excellent way to explore and discover the chain of 14 untouched Pakleni islands with a very indented coastline and numerous beautiful bays and beaches. The islands are mostly covered with pine trees, which provide you with the necessary shade you need on hot summer days.
Due to our good location, it is quite easy to reach the Pakleni islands with our kayaks, and you have the opportunity to visit some of the most beautiful beaches around Hvar. However, we recommend to take enough time for such trips, as you will need about 40 to 60 minutes (one way) to reach most of the attractive places. There are several pebble beaches on Pakleni islands where you can safely pull your kayak to the beach and explore the island, have something to eat or drink in a nearby restaurant, swim and snorkel or just relax.

We got to the little hut about 45 min before they opened but the guy there was super friendly, he had us sit down fill in the form and got a kayak ready for us there and then. He gave us a little lesson on how to paddle and gave us all of our equipment, they have life vests, dry bags, a map of the islands and told us we’re was best to go, they even had hats if you needed them. We then spent the day kayaking around the pakleni islands, it was awesome, sometimes hard work but so worth it. We came across a beach bar where we snorkelled, swam and had drinks, it was idyllic. There’s all sorts of little books and crannies to explore. We thoroughly enjoyed our day and would highly recommend these guys to anyone.Honestly can't recommend this enough! We hired a tandem kayak and had an incredible time exploring the Pakleni Islands. Both of guys who organise it were really helpful and showed us how to get to the best beach bars and spots for kayaking.

We were both new to kayaking, are in good shape and still found it hard work. We went to the farthest beach on the map they give you and then back again. Tiring but worth it it took us 5-6 hours. You feel very safe in the kayak as long as the water isn't too rough. I cant swim well at all but felt safe with life jacket too. Take water and suncream. Dry bag you get keeps everything dry. Even if you don't have the snorkeling equipment or an impermeable bag, all of this are already included in the formula. It's not so expensive for an activity at Hvar however this one remain one of our best: It was a wonderful experience !
