Your private day trip starts with hotel pickup in Ulaanbaatar at 9 am and drive for 2-hours to Terelj National Park.
On the way, stop at Ovoo – rock pile on the pass of a high mountain; used in the worship of religion.

Terelj National Park is one of the most visited and interesting national parks of Mongolia. It is connected with Ulaanbaatar by a paved road with 70km.The National Park is by its natural beauty, forested alpine mountains and interesting rock formations (Massive woolsack weather conditions) very well known.
Things to Do and See in Terelj National Park:
* Turtle Rock
* Ariyabal meditation temple
* Visit local nomad family, where you can experience the nomadic way of life of Mongolians
* Lunch at the nomad family

* Camel and Horse riding is optional. Fee is around 8$-10$ per person per up to an hour. You can directly pay the horse owner.

We had the most memorable time of our lives. The driver and Deema, our guide, were very hospitable and helpful. They looked after us and made sure that all our needs were met and that we had special opportunities to do things outside the itinerary whenever possible. The driver would stop for us when we wanted to take pictures or fly the drone. Once a nomadic family invited us to their home by chance and we went with them.
