The fourth oldest university in Great Britain that started in a small room of Glasgow Cathedral in the 15th century and ended up being one of the iconic buildings in Glasgow.

Cosmopiltan and eclectic Byres road and shops, restaurants, cafe's is the heart of Glasgow's West End. Time for a wee break?

Stop At: Glasgow Botanic Gardens, 730 Great Western Road, Glasgow G12 0UE Scotland

A beautiful horticultural collection represented in several victorian glasshouses that also contains some amazing sculpture.

What a place and what exhibits, simply marvellous and any trip to Glasgow must include two or three hours in here AND ITS FREE OF CHARGE. Haley, our guide, took us through the University of Glasgow, the botanic garden and the Kelvingrove museum. The Hunterian museum and art gallery was unfortunately mostly closed for renovation, but the Kelvingrove museum was excellent; we had a nice lunch there, too.
