Game viewing from open safari vehicles in the Kruger National Park has to be one of the ultimate safari experiences in Africa and being able to do this in a day is ideal for those with limited time available. You start your day early with an exciting open vehicle game drive.
During the course of the day, you will make comfort stops at a scenic picnic spot or a Rest Camp with restaurants & shops where you can get something to eat before setting off to explore more of the Big 5 in the Kruger Park.
You will be guided by a professional and experienced guide.
Kruger Park is well-known for its boundless opportunities to spot the famous African Big Five - Elephant, Leopard, Buffalo, Rhino and of course Lion. Day safaris are conducted in open safari vehicles with a canvas roof and sides for your protection against the elements.

Mijn vrouw en ik en onze gids Arno rijden nu terug naar Hazyview. We hebben een geweldige dag achter de rug in het Krugerpark en ontzettend veel mooie dieren gezien, met misschien nog wel het meest bijzondere, een grote roedel wilde honden die bezig waren met een hapje Impala! Je wordt al om 4:45 (zomertijd) opgehaald uit Hazyview en om 5:15 (net 15 minuten voor de gewone auto's) rijd je al het Krugerpark in. Al met al, een topdag, dank!Wir hatten kurz vor der Abreise nach Südafrika die Tagestour gebucht. Am Tag der Tour wurden wir direkt vom Hotel durch Arno abgeholt. Dabei hatten wir das Glück, dass wir die einzigen Gäste auf dieser somit Private-Tour waren. Die Formalitäten am Gate waren schnell abgehakt, so dass wir bereits ...
Wir hatten kurz vor der Abreise nach Südafrika die Tagestour gebucht. Am Tag der Tour wurden wir direkt vom Hotel durch Arno abgeholt. Dabei hatten wir das Glück, dass wir die einzigen Gäste auf dieser somit Private-Tour waren. Die Formalitäten am Gate waren schnell abgehakt, so dass wir bereits 5:35 h im Park waren. Arno ist gerne auf unsere Wünsche eingegangen, wenn es uns an manchen 'Spots' zu hektisch wurde und wir lieber die Ruhe bei einer Sichtung der Nicht-Big-Five wünschten. Im Ergebnis hatten wir daher einen wunderschönen Safari-Tag.Wir hatten einen tollen Tag. Die Abholung am Hotel erfolgte pünktlich. Wir hatten unglaubliches Glück und haben die Big 5 gesehen. Unser Guide hat sich viel Mühe gegeben und war sehr nett.

As a result, we were able to see four animals of the big five, even in a period in which it is more difficult to spot them.

Donna and I are big on self drive self paced tours and while that's fine and dandy most places, navigating The Krueger in a rental car, wondering what road to take with the best chance to see the wildlife, while faced with bush 8' or taller just doesn't work well. Nor does sitting in a cramped tour bus with 15 strangers. So this was the perfect choice Arno picked us up at zero dark thirty and spent the entire day showing us the southern end of the park and we saw not one but two leopards, as well as the rest of the major animals, birds, etc. His knowledge of the wildlife, vegetation and the park fills in the gap between being a visitor and being there. I would not hesitate to book another outing with his company.
