Stop At: Ke‘anae Point, Maui, HI
The Ke’anae Peninsula is a dramatic half-mile long massive finger of newer lava sticking out from the cliff line of the Hana Highway. Well before coming to the turnout, you will have ogled at the scenic peninsula from the many lookouts along the road.
Duration: 30 minutes

Experience the natural beauty of Maui – the way it was meant to be, a paradise. The car was perfect clean and well stocked with water and snacks which my kids loved! Eric had the best stories and so much Hawaiian history - truly one of the best tour guides we have ever had! The company was super easy to book with and easy to confirm. True professionals! I also appreciated the safe and slow driving which when on the road to Hana is super important and alleviated my concerns with driving the narrow roads. My husband and I did the half day trip to Hana and had a fantastic trip! We were picked up by Katrice in a beautiful and comfortable Cadillac SUV. She was immediately friendly and approachable and we truly enjoyed listening to her stories as much as we enjoyed all the sights. One of my little favorites was how she explained why she honked her horn in tunnels - we thought it was such a cool story that we did it ourselves in our rental car each time we passed through as well! Katrice called ahead and order our breakfast at a great local restaurant and it was ready for us right as we arrived. We appreciated many of those small details that were carefully orchestrated. Along the road to Hana, we saw beautiful waterfalls and ocean views, stopping several times to get photos. Katrice was a phenomenal drivers - this is a detail that cannot be overstated. Having never been to Maui, we would have never known how dangerous and windy that road can be. I would never have wanted to drive it as a tourist, or be driving it while other tourists were on the road as well! We were so thankful to have gone with a professional who clearly knew the way expertly and was extremely safe. The food we stopped for along the way was just about as good as the views - we had some homemade banana bread and a pineapple smoothie at a roadside stop at the halfway to Hana point (both delicious) and then stopped at Leoda's pie shop at the end of our tour for some delicious individual pies - well worth the stop! We enjoyed the luxurious ride in the roomy Cadillac SUV sedan. Our tour guide (Patrice) was fabulous! She presented a lot of the history of Maui and pointed out various important and historical places. Our half way to Hana adventure tour was memorable, even though, the rain put a damper on it!...

Scott was great. Very knowledgeable and gracious. Gave us interesting facts about the islands history during the drive. Provided plenty of water drinks and snacks.
