Marie was an amazing guide! She was so knowledgeable and was in tune to the group. She made the experience fun as well as educational! This tour is definitely the way to go. There are so many behind-the-scenes areas to see! I highly recommend it to anyone interested in seeing the Doge's Palace. Because of the tour timing, we even ended up in St. Mark's Cathedral when the lights were on (they are only on for 1 hope each day), and it was remarkable! Marie's English was impeccable and easy for the kids to understand. I recommend requesting her for this tour!Zach_L

Her knowledge about the city is remarkable and she was able to answer all of our questions. Our party of four greatly enjoyed our tour of St Mark’s Basilica and the Doges Palace with our guide Sabrina. The line was quite long to enter the church at the beginning of the tour so we directly to the Doges Palace where we skipped the line there to enter with the tickets previously purchased...
Our party of four greatly enjoyed our tour of St Mark’s Basilica and the Doges Palace with our guide Sabrina. The line was quite long to enter the church at the beginning of the tour so we directly to the Doges Palace where we skipped the line there to enter with the tickets previously purchased by Sabrina. We could not have asked for a better guide. Sabrina is knowledgeable, friendly, lively, and her English is easily understood. She is well versed in history and art and was easily able to answer our questions. When we left the Palace the line was much shorter to enter the church (good call Sabrina!) and Sabrina gave us some insight into our visit during our short wait. The Basilica is magnificent and not to be missed. We were out of the church just in time for Sabrina to explain the workings of the clock in the piazza before it worked it’s magic at five o’clock. I highly recommend this tour to anyone that is visiting Venice. LivItaly is a great small group experience.Djnewt24
