Our drive there and back will give us the opportunity to tell you about Montreal: history, local stories, hidden locations and more.

A scenic 2 hour drive from downtown Montreal, Park Omega is a must-see attraction where you can see Canadian animals up close. This wild animal paradise and the neighboring Le Chateau Montebello, the world largest log cabin are yours to explore for a unique experience. This is a private tour for up to 3/4 adults or 2 adults and 2 children. I will pick you up at any Montreal location at 9am and have you back by 5-6pm. I drive a comfortable Nissan Sentra less than 5 years old. Your admission to Omega Park and the carrots to feed the animals are included in your price.
The winter is a truly wonderful time to visit Parc Omega, as you can explore the 2200 acres of Parc Omega and see the animals with their beautiful fluffy winter coats. Unlike a zoo, at Parc Omega the animals have massive enclosures many of which you drive through, and the animals can walk up to your car. Being able to visit the animals from the comforts of your car is perfect on a frosty day as you can stay nice and toasty in your car feeding some of the animals carrots from the window of the car.

Pünktlich zur vereinbarten Zeit holte mich mein Tourguide/Fahrer Sorinel an meinem Hotel ab. Mit seinem sauberen und bequemen Honda Accord fuhren wir ca 90 Minuten bis zum Omega Park. In der Zeit haben wir uns gut unterhalten und kennengelernt und Sorinel hat mir kenntnisreich viel von Kanada, de...
Pünktlich zur vereinbarten Zeit holte mich mein Tourguide/Fahrer Sorinel an meinem Hotel ab. Mit seinem sauberen und bequemen Honda Accord fuhren wir ca 90 Minuten bis zum Omega Park. In der Zeit haben wir uns gut unterhalten und kennengelernt und Sorinel hat mir kenntnisreich viel von Kanada, dem changing of colors und dem Omega Park erzählt. Dort angekommen gingen wir erst einmal in die Lodge auf einen Kaffee und bewunderten die Aussicht. Dass ein Haus (Blockhaus) so riechen kann - wow! Mit dem Auto ging es dann in den Park, wo wir am Eingang von einer Herde Wapitis begrüsst wurden. Sorinel hatte säckeweise Möhren dabei und das Füttern hat viel Spaß gemacht. Die Landschaft im Park ist toll und ich habe alle Tiere gesehen, die ich mir gewünscht habe, vom Kanadagänsen, Wapiti, Hirsch, Karibu, Elch, Bison über Füchse uns Wölfe bis hin zu den Bären. Sorinel wusste immer, wo in dem riesigen Areal sich die Tiere aufhielten. Man kann ihm seine Begeisterung für die Tiere und den Park richtig anmerken. In der Parkmitte ist ein Areal mit Rastplätzen, Kinderspielplatz, Souvenirshop, WC und der Möglichkeit, sich mit Essen und Getränken zu versorgen. Außerdem kann man von dort durch einen kleinen Wald zu den Wolf-Aussichtspunkten gehen. Die herrliche Luft dort zu atmen - einfach toll. Nach dem Verlassen des Parks ging es noch auf einen Abstecher zum Fairmont Montebello, dem größten Blockhaus der Welt und dann brachte mich Sorinel zurück zu meinem Hotel. Sorinel ist ein sehr freundlicher Mann, der rücksichtsvoll auf die Bedürfnisse seiner Mitfahrer eingeht und seine Geschwindigkeit ihren Möglichkeiten anpasst. Ich hätte mir für diesen tollen Tag keinen besseren Begleiter wünschen können. Danke Sorinel!!!LoveTravel280330

Superbe expérience au parc Omega grâce à Christian ! Sans lui nous n'aurions pas vu voir ce parc exceptionnel car nous n'étions pas véhiculés. Christian était accueillant, disponible, et passionné avec pleins d'anecdotes, bref un véritable plaisir de voyager avec lui. Je recommande ce tour à tous...
