Private Cooking Class of Ferrarese cuisine
Overview
For years, every Sunday, in our house, all our friends have gathered to be together. I would like to offer our guests, through the kitchen, the same warmth and conviviality of every Sunday, which only gathering in front of a table can create.

What to expect
We will meet in front of the renowned Chocolat pastry shop in the center of Ferrara, from which we will then set off to discover three historic shops: a butcher, a greengrocer and a shop selling typical products where we will buy the ingredients needed to create the menu.
Once home, a welcome glass will be offered, coming directly from the cellars of the area.
We will then get to the heart of the experience, wearing our apron and cooking.
We will create a complete menu: appetizer, first course of homemade pasta, second course with side dish and final dessert with a matching glass on course.
Once the preparations have been completed, guests will eat with us in our living room or, alternatively, in the summer period, on our large terrace.
The added value of this experience is the desire to make known how a Ferrarese family spends their Sundays, in the warmth, in the tranquility of the home, leaving out, for once, the usual experience of communal catering.
At the end, there will be a small gift of our production for the guest.

• Cappelletto from Ferrara - served with cream, ragu or capon broth
• Little hats - served with ragu or butter and sage
• Noodles - with ragu, porcini mushrooms

Esperienza veramente piacevole che inizia con una colazione al bar e giretto nel centro di Ferrara,per poi proseguire la giornata a casa di Sofia e Matteo dove ci hanno fatto mettere letteralmente le mani in pasta. Il nostro menù prevedeva piatti della tradizione ferrarese, quindi pinzini fritti ...
Esperienza veramente piacevole che inizia con una colazione al bar e giretto nel centro di Ferrara,per poi proseguire la giornata a casa di Sofia e Matteo dove ci hanno fatto mettere letteralmente le mani in pasta. Il nostro menù prevedeva piatti della tradizione ferrarese, quindi pinzini fritti fatti in casa con salumi, cappellacci di zucca con ragù e torta tenerina per concludere. Ci siamo fatti guidare dalle mani sapienti di Matteo e Sofia nella lavorazione degli impasti e per la chiusura dei cappellacci. Che dire, è stata un'esperienza più che positiva che ci ha fatto conoscere più da vicino la tradizione culinaria ferrarese e ci ha permesso di trascorrere qualche ora in compagnia di una coppia super accogliente e piena di passione in ciò che fa.
